its not really my problem tho
I got a mod mismatch when loading a few minutes ago. Runtime was the missing mod. I cant find it in either list( Downloaded or installed) and the link seems to be broken now.
This had to have happened today at some point as I was playing earlier.
IT DEFINITELY WORKS. I JUST TESTED IT. AGAIN.
Part 1
DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS TO GET IT TO WORK. 08/03/2020
So this is what you do. Subscribe to the mod. it no longer works as is. Then you download the 1.1 version from https://rimworldbase.com/runtimegc-tool/
You open up the downloaded file and there are 2 folders you have to move into your steam workshop folder. This is MY folder path E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\962732083
you can find yours by going to the workshop and doing a search for Runtime
Once you are in the folder of your steam workshop with the folders about, assemblies, defs, language. There you put the 1.1 files from the 1,1 download https://rimworldbase.com/runtimegc-tool/

Part 2
In order to keep the mod running without steam turning it BACK into 1.0 files I temporarily changed the name of the folder with all the mod materials. Added some letters. Then I unsubscribed from runtime on the steam workshop. When I put the folder name back to its original name it can be seen in your modlist and there is no risk of your now 1.1 version being turned back into 1.0 when steam realizes the files don't match. You can use the same method to make alterations to mods you've downloaded.
