I popped into single player to try out this mod and check out how it worked overall. I looked over the mods forums and description page and didn't find this information anywhere else so I decided to post it here for anyone else who is interested in this mod.

Indicator
There's an indicator on every creature you use a pokeball on. It appears above the name plate and indicates what ball was used to capture it.

Death
For any creature in your tribe that you have used a pokeball on, is immune to death. Upon reached a thresh hold of 10% of their max hp, or any amount of fatal damage. The creature will simply faint and return to a pokeball.
-----This works globally
-----If the player is offline it will return to them once they are online again.
-----If the player is dead the salvation function waits for the player to respawn before returning the dino to the player.

Missing
If you miss or the ball bounces, text will appear on screen and the ball returns to you.

Lost Pokeballs upon Death
If a player dies with pokeballs on him. The balls are lost forever along with the creature they were assigned to.
***Admins can spawn an item called "pokemon restorative" this item allows you to force claim the pokeball of any creature with pokemon sickness that isn't in your inventory. (For admins cleaning their server. You can tell which creatures are permenantly lost by the "owner" column. If it says their is no owner, you can claim and delete the pokeball.) ***

Storage
First if you have a pc storage unit you are only allowed to carry 6 pokeballs with creatures in them. Should you hit 7 the pokeball with be transerfered to the nearest pc you own. One exception, if you pull a bunch of pokeballs out of the pc, then you can carry more than 6. However, returning any of them to your inventory after use while you still have more than 6 will send them straight to the nearest PC.

-Also pokeballs are sent to the nearest PC.

PC storage (revamped)
The storage pc now features a cloud save system. Giving you access to your personal storage from any pc on the server. It is bound to your character. The only downside it that tribe mates can't make withdraws from your pc. I recommend storing community utility dino's in a normal storage box. The pc has 32 boxes, storing 30 balls each. Allowing for a maximum of 960 stored tames. Any more and you'll have to store them in normal storage containers. You cannot name the boxes. You have to scroll through them one by one. There is no search system atm.


Trading Console
This allows players to trade tames via this structure. It switches the ownership of the tame by ark's and the mod's standards. Useful for trading tames for breeding or other such endeavors.


Capture State
When a creature is captured you get a unique ball that has the specific information of the creature. Including its:
- Name
- Species
- Level
- Health
- Captured by (Not useuful, shows only the last person to return the dino to the ball. Not who the mod considers the actual owner of that tame to be).
- Coming update will have it list gender as well.

Ownership
Ownership is important in the pokeball mod. It dictates who the pokeball with return to upon the tame being "dying".

A captured creature doesn't go "into the pokeball" it remains where it was invisible with collisions removed. In this state it is entirely invisible. Nothing can harm it except an admin command.

Next a creature retains all its inventory, regardless of how much it had on it. When its in its pokeball, this creature only weighs the pokeballs weight of .5

If you choose this creature the pokeball is used and is gone forever, be sure to carry spares with you. (You can chose to return a pokemon to its creature for free on the radial menu of the creature).
If a creature faints it generates a pokeball to return to. I.E. it doesn't use any of the pokeballs you have on you to do this either.


Healing
Using the pokemon center lets you heal 6 dino's in just a few seconds. You have to release the tame from the ball for the healing effect to apply.

Capturing
When attempting to capture a creature with pokeballs there are some ground rules:
- You should lower their HP (like in pokemon)
- Knock them out (Giving them status effects, like in pokemon)*
- Don't toss ball after ball immediately. There's a capture debuff that lasts longer and lowers capture chances more if you rapid fire capture attempts.
- After a failed capture attempt a quote will appear on screen. It will also show you the % chance you had to capture the creature
- *You cannot capture passive tames while they are knocked out. Lowering the HP of a passive tame is the only bonus you can get on them.
- The capture chance is lowered by 2% for each 1k of HP a creature has. Due to this high HP creatures are much harder to tame. Also it makes taming a giga or titan with anything less than a master ball impossible. You will have to use conventional taming methods for them unless you have element to make masterballs with.

Pokemon Sickness
Pokemon sickness (is slated to get renamed), the essentially the be all buff that the pokeball mod provies. Any tame under this buff can be returned to their pokeball via their radial menu. Additionally, it is impossible for any tame do die while they have this buff. Instead, they will pass out and return to their owner. Exceptions are bugs report them. Land vs. Flying vs. Water
- If a land creature is choosen in the water. It sits where it was spawned. It appears to lose no oxygen.

- If a flying creature is choosen undewater it will sit where spawned. When it makes an attempt to move, or is mounted, it will immidiately return to the surface, dismounting the rider in the process.

- If a water creature is chosen on land. The water creature will spawn, instantly loose 100% of its hp, pass out, and return to its pokeball.


Pokemon Restorative
Admin only tool
This allows admins to view a list of every tame registered via the pokeball mod of the tribe the user is currently in. (Any tame that currently has pokeball sickeness.) It lists the tame's, name, species, level, and who the mod considers to be the owner of that tame. (first person to hit the tame with a pokeball and give it pokemon sickness). If you need to restore tames of playersin other tribes, you will have to leave your tribe and join theirs, then rejoin your old tribe via admin commands.


Boss Arena
You can take pokeballs into the arena with you. If you release aditional dino's inside the arena and return successful from the fight. All dino's will retrun with you, including the extra ones. (That includes creatures that aren't allowed to go through on the initial teleport, like the titan).*

*There is now a config for the .ini that will make the mod disabled while in the boss arena. I need to check if this also affects the dungeon bosses like the ice queen and the lava golem of ragnarok.


Mod
It should be noted that if the mod isn't loaded for your server. The server will load your dino's back into the world at the last place they were spawned before returning to their pokeball for the last time.

Other Mods
This mod works will all other mods, as far as I know. If you find anymods that it conflicts with please report them.

Mod Recommendations
I recommend using this mod with the death recovery mod. This is great for new players to the game as it basically removes death penalties.

Since dino's don't poop or drop eggs when stored in balls I recommend using this mod to solve your egg proglems:

And for poop, I recommend just using a phioma. Filling it with normal berries so it has food, and then forcefeeding it stims makes it poop a ton, so you can easily fill your crop with fertilizer.

That's all the unique interactions I was able to test using the mod. I thoroughly enjoyed using it and hope to get this added to the main server I play on.

Delete? No, no. I'll do you one better: Pin It. :)

I put a lot of info in the Change Notes when a new feature is added as well. For example, the info about "Missing" is there because it was a feature that was recently added.

For the PC, there's "Transferred to PC" text that shows after "Gotcha!" when it is transferred.

It doesn't seem to appear when I was catching Dino's I had already tamed. Hadn't tried it yet with actually capturing a wild dino. I will check it again to make sure I just didn't see the text.

Indicator - There is the buff the dino gets that tells you it will be rescued should it be about to die in the top right corner.

You forgot to mention there is a choice in the dial menu that lets you return dinos to their pokeballs,

Forgot to mention it does not work on bosses,minions,alphas, if a passive tame is asleep,
can only tame titans and gigas with a masterball,
can only tame golems with ultra+ balls but only while it's asleep,

There is a debuff of -10% for 5 seconds upon a failed capture which stacks to -60% for 30 seconds,

Tho i have requested it be fixed you can catch wyverns and phoenixs with any pokeball type if you get their health low,

Upon failing a tame it will show you at the top the % chance you had of taming it to give you a vague idea.

It's an amazing mod by an amazing person :3

I intentionally left out most of the information on the mods decription page, but I might as well put everything about the mod here.

And the pokesickness indicator in the top right is only useful if you are riding a dino. Which makes it useless at a glance for a large number of dino's you might still have out. (for poop, eggs, etc) And gives no information at all about smaller dino's that can't be ridden.

Nearest Trib placed pc... (if you name a pc the same as your char have your ball's go to that pc).. and why 7? config option? toggle on/off from the pc?

if you go up to the creature and hold E.. there is an option to put it back in the pokeballs(does not use another one)

a recall gun or device might be nice(or OP)

If you capture a creature for storage on your person, it uses a pokeball, the creatures details are listed uniquly in your inventory.
If you choose this creature the pokeball is used and is gone forever, be sure to carry spares with you.
If a creature faints it generates a pokeball to return to. I.E. it doesn't use any of the pokeballs you have on you to do this.

Yeah, sorry. I didn't really give the format a lot of thought as I was making itm it was more like I just tested things as I thought of them and used this post as a note pad for the results.

hey, i haven't played ark in forever and i forgot the hotkey that lets you put 6 in a list for easy equip and return.
