As i'm sure many of you who love and play this game know already, this game doesn't have a dedicated server and so many times when the host dies during the game and decides to leave, it kills the game for all the remaining players and it's quite frustrating, especially after having spent an hour playing, and we can't actually conclude/finish the game.

I've written to valve, posted threads, comments, etc. and no one has responded, no one has answered or even acknowledged this issue to my knowledge. I am not sure myself why this game doesn't have a dedicated server and would like to know why. Of course, if it is possible to get one for this game or if there is anything we players can do to help move things along and obtain a dedicated server, I would love to hear any suggestions which have yet to be tried.

Only thing I can think of at this point is starting a petition or something or "spamming" emails to support team/valve or whoever has the power to fix this issue.

If for some reason it is impossible to have a dedicated server for this game, though I can't imagine why, I would also like to know that so I don't have to ever get my hopes up.

Lastly, until we can get a dedicated server, i'd like to suggest some game etiquette. If you play this game and you are hosting, please be respectful of the other players if you die before they do and keep hosting the game until it finishes, if you can. Just get up and make tea or something while it finishes instead of just leaving and ending it for everyone. Well, that's the end of my rant.

Please comment or bump this thread if you want to see a dedicated server for this game. Maybe if we continue to make enough noise somebody will listen and finally do something about it or at least address it.
