Classes balance
I find that there is a balance issues among the classes, namly the hunter, and probably the deperado are much weaker then all the others.
Because of the open abilites system the only difference between the classes are thier stats, so I compared based on there total final total values (altough order has effect but minor), and reomved codebreaker and scout as they have thier own unique stats:

class ofc hp mob crit score
soldier 23 3 3 0 41
sniper 35 0 0 10 40
hunter 14 0 2 8 24
paladin 14 4 5 0 41
desper 20 2 0 20 36
spartan 14 7 2 0 41

*score calculation: offence is base, hp=mobility=3*offence, crit =0.5*offence

So it is easy to that hunter is just absolete by all others, and desperado just weaker.

Would be glad to hear your thoughts

You could argue that the hunter has its own "stat" (the detection range reduction), too. Of course it becomes pointless when he loses his concealment but usually you will want to keep at least one concealed soldier until the end of the mission or activation of the last pod.

you missed scout off your list, and yes hunter and scout are somewhat weaker and are being combined into the same class. I disagree with your statement that you think crit is half as useful as aim, especially as there are plenty of enemies that can't take cover, and have huge defense negative aim is useless against them but crit chance sometimes allows you to deal double damage.

All of this is changing in the next patch anyways. I'll enjoy to see your next round of calculations.
