Struggling to find Wyvern eggs?
I'm playing solo on a private server and have been to Volcano Island loads. In total I've found 2 eggs, 1 Velox Wyvern egg in a nest and 1 standard egg on the ground. I've kill 43 Wyverns so far to try to trigger respawning (in the hopes they'd drop them on spawning) - but has anyone else encountered this problem / understand the egg laying mechanics?

On all other maps I've played there is normally a trench they live in with lots of nests to chose from :/

I literally haven't found a single nest and I've just flown over it in creative mode for hours. Do the nests have a really short render distance? Also have you found them just on normal ground, or on the rocks spikes and such?

From what I remember of this map, the Wyvern nests would at times spawn in invisible with the Eggs, there are a few spots they spawn like this and is unavoidable from what I seen, but if you use a whip in those spots you will collect eggs.

first time I went to the volcano I found a level 40(fire) after sometime I decided to return but found nothing (doing this a few time) although today on my way to check on the first nest I spotted a grey looking egg(hovering) as I got closer it turned green and a nest appeared under it when I went and picked it up I noticed that it was actually 2 eggs 110(fire) and 190(poison) I wanted to check on the first nest but that's when mommy showed up

to put it simply it's a matter of luck

Edit: okay now this is weird I found 2 identical egg on top of each other
