Own Feedback: I personally think this is AWESOME, but I think I over hyped it for myself.

Suggestion: PvP. Honestly this would be so much fun as a PvP mission where you choose which faction vs which and then choose which platoon each team gets, then maybe even make it so its 3 teams! Where there could be Blufor, Opfor and Independent, and one team could be the AI and the other two could be players (Similar to the Endgame missions)

During combat ops, and sometimes recon ops, the helicopters won't appear as an option, either as a support or a vehicle to use. It's quite a pain, however it only seems to be with mods (unsure if it's happened vanilla)
I too can vouch for issues involving HC and support assets when the C2 mod is loaded. Neither HC nor support options are available at all when I run C2, which I find to be essential when playing Arma with AI team mates. The support and platoon units are still spawned at mission start, but I never get the actions to use them and ctrl+space does not switch to high command as it should. Without C2 the mission runs normally.

Prior to the March 14 update these issues did not exist and I was able to play with C2, HC and supports all together. I will try to get an RPT for you, mbrdmn.

Both DCO and DRO are excellent missions and I wish you the best as you develop them both.
Following up my previous post with RPTs attached.

I have tested both DCO and DRO with the following procedure:
Altis - my side (NATO) - enemy (AAF) - location of AO (Neochori) - my loadout is custom - all ai in my team are B-rifleman-F units - base/starting position, supports, chosen platoon elements were the same for each session.

My first session ( http://pastebin.com/Tu5bjj9E ) I started the game with CBA_A3 and C2 loaded and I start both missions with the above parameters.

My second session ( http://pastebin.com/B2KjpK1V ) I started the game with CBA_A3 alone and I start both missions with the above parameters.

As expected, no high command or supports available in DCO in the first session. Supports did work, however, in DRO. When C2 was not loaded I did have access to HC and supports in DCO and supports worked in DRO.

Something else that I notice in DCO with or without mods is that my ai team mates or my own avatar will often spot and call out unknown targets when I am in contact with friendly groups. If I press the "2" key to bring up targets I will often see "unknown target" or "man" listed near the top. The bearing and distance to these targets often point to something or someone very close to me, but there is never any actual enemy there. Could this be related to my problem with C2? Again, this didn't happen prior to March 14.

Blueshift, does the C2 mod work if you play DRO with redfor or greenfor faction instead of bluefor?

edit. I haven't used C2 mod myself but I guess it somehow applies its functionality before the player character is assigned into the selected faction in DRO/DCO. In DCO the player starts as civilian so the C2 is applied while player is still part of civilian faction while in the DRO the player still starts as a part of bluefor so the mod works normally when playing as bluefor but breaks otherwise.

I imagine that's the case as well and would line up with changes from the March 14th patch (thanks for the detail by the way!). I'll have to look at having C2 fire again once the mission has begun, hopefully it's possible to call it again mid-mission.
This also happens with redfor or independant factions. I too think that it has something to do with the civilian switching business that occurs during the mission initialization, but as I said, it did not happen prior to March 14. There was another mission "Advanced Fierce Combat Scenario" that also did not play well with C2 and that mission also featured the replacement of the player unit after init. I hope magic can be worked oh great wizard!
Yeah, the civilian switching stuff was first introduced with the March 14 patch so it's logical to assume that's the problem. However! I did just try out C2 on DRO (rather than DCO) as I'm working on bringing the same system over there as well, and it worked perfectly as far as I could tell. That's interesting, not necessarily good though. I'll keep tabs on it going forward and see what I can do.

Edit: To be specific I'm trying on the DRO test version (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=732509193) - the switching changes aren't yet live on DRO proper.

I see. Please don't take offense to this question, but why do you feel it necessary to use the civilian switching at all? Were units attacking friendlies during the mission setup phase or something like that? Everything seemed to work fine before.

Edit: I played another rousing round of DCO on chernarus this time and noticed something else odd. When I reached the dropped resupply crate I would only intermittently see the "Force resupply" action when selecting individual ai team mates. And when I would succeed in ordering them to "force resupply" the word "heal" would appear under their number on the command bar. Though they do seem to rearm themselves, they stay prone on the ground and did not return to formation until told to do so. "Heal" would stay under their number until they returned to formation.

Before civilian change, if you were playing as redfor or greenfor against bluefor faction in DCO, the high command icons of all bluefor units would be visible on the player map at all times.

Additionally it solves the long standing issue of units not receiving the correct tags (visible when aimed at or called via an action menu). I've been working on C2 compatibility on the DRO test version today and hopefully those changes will help when I bring them over to DCO.

The AI lacking, or in your case having intermittent user created action items seems to have been introduced with the 1.68 update. I've raised a bug report on the Arma feedback tracker which has just been marked as reviewed.
Good deal. You are a wonderfully thorough dev. I'll keep an eye out for more bugs on other islands / factions / etc.
for some reason when i play dco sahrani it plays dro sahrani
Unsure if this is just me, but whenever I play DCO I get multiple problems.

These are usually my player teammates going invisible and not having access to team planning, or the supports not coming up even though it says "support available" at the start. Usually with modded factions I can't get helicopters, like cup and RHS.

I'll see if I can send an rpt later.
Wheneve i try to change ANYONES loadout (Including my own) it will fill my inventory with magazines of the weapons im holding. It will put as many mags as it can fit as soon as i try to put something in my inventory.
I get that too ^ sometimes, not sure why.
