Romaji could be possible, but it would be a little harder to make since normal morae take 2 letters each, while some take 1 or 3. It would be a lot easier on us and harder on them to use katakana.
Also, the Version hint used in my manual is モジュールに「JP V1」と書かれたバーコードステッカーがあることを確認してください。(translates to "Make sure that there is a barcode sticker that says "JP V1" on the module.").
Here's a font that imitates old-school LCDs that support one-byte/halfwidth katakana. http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/1365757/lcd-jp
Would also work great for the passwords module by the looks of it. I've tested it, but it didn't work very well, yet. I tried アイウエオ, but none of these characters worked, although I think I can see them on the web preview. Maybe I'm using the wrong characters?
Now all that is left is the password list and its submit label (確認 ?)
Here are my passwords that are five bytes long in halfwidth katakana.

Japanese passwords are live now!
Please have a look if you find anything odd!
Morse Code words may or may not be coming soon.
Also, are you going to add the Translated Missions for Japanese? I've already translated everything in the Interpreter Booklet[fizzystack.web.fc2.com]. The Bombs Catalogue starts at Page 15.
Hey ΛKIΓΛ!
You can get html-files by just opening the settings file of the mod (like described in the mod's description) and set "OutputManual" to true.
These html files are automatically generated by inserting the json data of the mod into html-template files, so these are the actual source files. Therefore the outputted html files are actually intermediate files.
I uploaded the real source files (json and html-templates)>>here<<[web.personal-webspace.de].
Unfortunately the mission texts can only display pure English letters, that is they don't even support the German umlauts or any accented characters and I don't see a way to hack around that, yet.The only thing that would be technically possible is to create missions in Rōmaji. If you thing that would be a cool thing then just send me the texts.
Also, you can remove the newlines in Vent Gas. Japanese text line-breaks between any letter except before punctuation, so it is not necessary to add that many newlines that often. Just don't put \n before any dakutens.
In addition, I can see that in a screenshot there is a button that says "何n", which is not one of the possible buttons. My best guess is that the ? in 何? is not displayed as the correct character. Could you look into that?
Could you have a look in >>these<<[web.personal-webspace.de] pictures and tell me if this is what you had mind, regarding linebreak, and - if not - where you would set the breakpoints? (There is no automatic linebreak)
