it was very late for me when I posted my last comment, but the first half was taken directly from the change notes for anyone curious

- Added feature: You can now choose to play with randomly mixed languages by adding more than one language into the "CurrentLanguages" setting. The barcode sticker will tell you the language of each module.

Example config file entry to mix English and German:
"CurrentLanguages": ["de", "en"]

If you're using the Mod Selector, you gotta add each language on a separate string, and I tested it myself using that method and it works perfectly

Also keep in mind that they are still classified as Modded Modules, so be sure to have them enabled in profiles you want to play them in

Are the links for downloading the manuals working properly? Couldn't download Brazilian Portuguese, or French.

@Econael: Please read the instructions again carefully. You have to open the Mod brochure on the main desk - not the "Settings" binder. And the modules won't change their language, but you have to exclude the old modules (freeplay) or play the "Missions (translated)" missions, instead of the standard "Missions". And you need to solve the first bomb in English, before Mod are active for some reason.
@connercbc: Note that outputting the manulaa is only required if you are creating your own translation!. I have never tried the manual generation on Mac - maybe it doesn't work there at all. Most likely it is outputted into some weird folder.

Is this mod broken in 2020?
There is no "mods" section in the settings at all and after subscribiing, the modules are still in english.

um how do i have it output the manual? i have "OutputManual": true, but it wont output the manual. (im on mac)

@objectscountries: Well there is a fallback font integrated, which should support more or less all characters, but it will probably not look good. In addition, right to left languages need some tricks to work correctly (basically you'll need to write the characters in reversed order into the .json file). If you have a working .json with Arabic words, feel free to share it in a "Arabic Translation" thread here in the discussions and I'll hopefully find the time to make the necessary adjustments. Is there a good fan-translation of the manual for Arabic?

Leider ist das einigermassen schade, vielleicht könnte man das fixen oder ein Randomizer einbauen (der halt immer die Config Sprachfilesliste vor dem Laden des Modules randomized).

...also dass man nur eine Sprache gleichzeitig spielen kann ist kein Bug, sondern das ganz normale Verhalten, wie es gedacht war. Man kann in der Config nur deshalb mehrere Sprachen angeben, damit mehrere/alle manuals gleichzeitig re-exportiert werden können.

Könntest du bitte den Source Code auf GitHub, Bitbucket o.Ä. hochladen? Es gibt leider einen Bug, dass nur die oberste Sprache in der Config benutzt wird, über so Plattformen könnte das jeder Fixen. Leider ist dieser Bug eine Abneigung für einige Defuser, da nur immer eine Sprache kommt und das Langweilig ist.

I will add the tags and some additional logs with the next update. I think I will keep the one-line-per-log approach, instead of trying to build multi-line tables out of elements with different length, empty entries and right to left characters.

Hi there. People love your modules. I have some suggestions for changes to the logging:

1. Please add tags before each line/group you log. To logfile analyzer, each tag becomes a separate bullet. Tags look like: [module name #<n>].

2. For Who's On First, I'm recommend the following format:
Stage 1 buttons:
word word
word [word]
<word> word
etc.

Where the word in <> is the button you look at and the one with [] is the button you press.

And end it with:
Pressed incorrect button: <word>. Strike.
(OR)
Pressed <word>.
Module disarmed.

3. For Morse say something like:
Transmitting <WORD> (Frequency X.XXX)
Morse: .-.. --- .-. . -- / .. .--. ... ..- --
Submitted frequency Y.YYY
Incorrect frequency. Strike.
(OR)
Submitted frequency 3.XXX (<WORD>)
Correct frequency.

Is there any chance you can release the source code for your module? I'm working on a fake button module, but I'd rather have something to base it off of rather than rebuild it entirely from scratch. I'll give you any credit you want. :)

Your issue was already discussed in the “Report Bugs here” thread after you posted the same comment last time. In short: Oculus touch controllers are not yet supported by this mod.

Vorab schon Mal vielen Dank für die Mod! Werde demnächst mit Freunden einen "Zocker-Urlaub" machen, in dem wir sechs Tage lang nur Magic (Karten), Brett-, Konsolen- und PC-Spiele zocken werden. Da dort nicht jeder der englischen Sprache mächtig ist, wird die Mod definitiv von Vorteil sein! Sollte es Probleme geben, werde ich danach gerne Feedback geben.

I adjusted the installation instruction to match the new menu structure.
@Molten Knight: Have you restarted the game after downloading the mod? It sounds like you don't have mods enabled. Right after the engagement screen ("Press a button or click to continue") there should be a dialog asking you to enabled mods. On the third screen you should be able to enter the mod manager and make sure there is a checkmark before "Translated modules". If you still have problems please create a thread in the discussions of this mod!

There is a guy who has translated the whole manual to Slovak (so it is playable on vanilla),
specifically: v1 No: 241 revision 3
Is there a way that the manual could be generated into it? I don't know how many manual variations there are.

Actually, me personally, I only care about the printed version, so if there is only one version I could probably bodge it togeather or make those pages on my own

the manual is automatically generated from the same database as the game is using, so inconsistencies are not very likely. If you are absolutely sure you have not made any mistakes reading the Morse signal, please share your log file (<InstallDir>\ktane_Data\output_log.txt) and the date and estimated time this happened. And as always: Please use the "discussions", as the "Comments" are not a good place for bidirectional communication.

@Eotall: no, currently I'm only using it to export the manuals in multiple languages at the same tim - the actual game is using only the first language in that list. If there is a demand I could implement multi language support....

I can't get the Danish version to work. I playing on mac, and following the mac-instructions - but evertime i change "de" to "da" and open the game - everything is in english.

When i erase the modsetting file and reopen the game - the german translation works.

I've also subscribed to the danish mod.
