then copy that folder to Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2 beta\game\dota\scripts\vscripts\ and rename the folder name to "bots".
now create your lan server, it will be used by default, if you want to try it, try going offline mode on steam then play offline with bots alone.
kudos for your great work! but i have a problem. if i play "practice with bots" using the ui.. your bots works perfectly fine! The problem is when i start a bot game using command line.. with bot_start_ai_game and map start.. using the dota_bot_populate would just give bots from limited hero pools. What i notice was from the console is that using dota_bot_populate would add player with steam ids.. if i start a bot match using the one-click ui.. the console added players with steamid 0.. maybe that's the different.. if i use fake clients.. the hero selection was good (all heroes available) except the bots would not be in laning phase.. most of them would be in mid lane.. pushing from the start until the end of the game.. hope you can look onto this matter
