1. New Mission Tree for Wallachia/Romania. Romania starts the game at the 1444 start date with one of its missions already complete, giving it cores on one of its vassals. Perhaps add missions that have to do with Byzantium, Crimea, and Hungary.
2. Add special events to the North Africa nations, excluding Knights Templar, where their ruler/heir converts to a different religion, like Shi'a or Sunni, or decide whether to change the nation's religion, or incur a severe diplomatic penalty.
3. Since nations like Spain and Ottomans are absent from the campaign, change their unique Splendor abilities to a different nation that can actually use them, like Egypt instead of Ottomans, and Morocco instead of Spain.
4. Add a "Complacency" modifier to Catholic nations during the first age of the campaign to increase aggressive expansion penalty by 50% and perhaps even grant AE in provinces you have claims but not cores on.
Any possibiliy you maybe want them when I`m done translating?
Now I suppose this second one is just as unlikely for you to do but maybe you could create a secondary fall of Islam mod that removes the extra governments you've created?
I thvink that could make it compatable.
Another suggestion of mine is to maybe just incorporate GE into the base mod but I am not expecting you to do that because that probably takes just as much work as creating a patch to make them compatable.
Cumans get a thicc mission tree as soon the 1.32 update drops ;)
