fun is the name of the game
I'll look into it
maybe u want to join our discord
the other devs and I are happy to answer more lore over there. this forum is a bit cluncky and I am not the expert on bulgar or altaic lore ;)
they still adopt a slavic tounge with their conversion to orthodox christianity. They are not however äquivalent with the hungarians nor really irl bulgarians. their whole apparatus of state is more modeled after byzantine not frankish examples and they have had a lot more time to develop their individual culture.
thx
are you using any other mods or running the mod on an older version of EU4? we havnt touched the macro builder or buildings, so it's likely some outside interference. also unsubscribeing and resubscribing helps if ur version of the mod is outdated. if u meddled in the base game code, I advise to verify the game integrity.
if the problems persist, u can join our discord, and I can have a look over ur error log
ah yeah I remember now. But yeah that tag was merged into the vanilla one, and we have changed its NI and flag already beforehand. We thought actually that the current Ni fit FoI Angevin Union quite well, as it is the land power equivalent to GB. Maybe in the future we will revisit it though.
thank you
not really sure what you mean there...
We never had a united England/France beyond the formable, and that still exists.
pls elaborate ;)
Depends on your preferred gamestyle. Byzantium ofc is always worth a try, But if u want to play tall, I can advise Trinakria. Axum has some nice falvour, so has Kartids into Hindustan (Nestorian Indian formable).
If u re looking for a real dark horse play Cumans.
we are not curretly aware of any crash issues.
have you other mods active? that can easily cause a crash.
Otherwise check if the mod is on the correct version. Sometimes the mod is not updating correctly. Unsubscribing and resubscribing ususally does the trick.
Or maybe you have set your game to an old beta. The mod is only compatible with the newst version of the game.
no map, but if u join our discord, there is a list
yet you still took the time to leave a comment, and our 8yrs old mod can still make it into the top recommended items on the workshop, so we are doing quite well I should think
but if u really want sth kooky, try the kurds (all 3 tags have slightly different flavor depending on their religion once they graduate from being Eyubids and re-form Persia)
I'm very proud of my Trinakria Mission tree (dont form Magna Grecia, the color is not worth it)
also pretty much all of the central Asians are fun (Samarkand and Zunbil especially, Baktria for Alexander larp, Sakastan is technically still Parthian and has some fluff in that direction)
Kartids have their own Mughal quivalent
Kindah is arab-jewish pirates
Axum can get a CB to free all the slaves in the world
basically there is lots of options
Nice to hear you liked the mod.
Maja Ali is one of our older trees, and should probably be revisited, but as the region is not in our current focus, and as we are understaffed at the moment, we will keep your feedback in mind, but it will most likely be a while until we get round to it.
As for cultural assimiliation, there should be events once the Caliphate is formed.
I played Majar Ali, a nation in Yemen and after conquering all of Arabia there was not much fun in it. It took me over 50 years to complete the first 2 missions. I suggest changing the mission-conquer and convert all Arabia-to hold a certain number of provinces (80% or some important provinces). After completing it, taking lands from Anatolia to Egypt, rewards were - just new claims. There were no events and not many rewards.I wish some events would assimilate other cultures, like Copts to Egyptian Arabs, Assyrians into Iraqis, etc. Some events for sieging cities - Baghdad, Tunis, Damascus, etc. It would be great to see some Caliphate mechanics. I believe nations like Lusitania, Byzantium, Persia have a lot of flavor, it was nice to watch the map changing with various cultures and religions, I just wish there was some more flavor for Muslim nations, it's more fun to me to play as a minor nation going against everyone.
