"Game breaking" bug
I've played with EE mod once before without problems, this was some time ago and it has since then had some updates.

I just started a new playthrough with this mod only, and it seems like the mod now has a humongous, game-breaking bug, specifically in Luculla Mines.

First of all, the entire area of goblins leading up to the entrance of the mines are all, well, dead... Corpses everywhere, dead from who knows what. The only spot they were alive is where they were all sleeping. Here is a screenshot of one of the roads showing corpses (we did not kill them): https://prnt.sc/lw4ywn - throughout the forest there are also random corpses of various orcs and goblins.

Enter the mines (which was not guarded either, because they were dead too) - the whole party dies instantly. Why? Well, the entire thing is filled to the brink with lava. Every pixel of floor in the mines are covered in lava, every single enemy and NPC are dead. Here is a screenshot: https://prnt.sc/lw4whw

The only way to navigate is using hover and a spell to clear surfaces, but since everythings dead the only thing I can do is get a bunch of free loot, but at a huge XP loss. Also, there is no way of knowing if this is the "only" bug, it would suck to skip it only to find out a different place in the game too is bugged.

I will of course retract my "statement" (if you will), if the developer or someone else can confirm that this is not an EE bug, but I don't see what else it would be??? :s

Note: I did get an error earlier in the playthrough saying that a save file was corrupted or tampered with, but upon loading an earlier save it went away and I did not think much more of it.

Sorry for the delay, Steam doesn't alert me when a new discussion thread is started.

I'm really surprised at this, as I've never had any report of this before, and the dead goblins outside of the mine don't make sense at all. I can say that the mod doesn't modify any of the code that causes the lava-filling of the Luculla mines, though--that's all original-game quest-related stuff. My armchair opinion is that, for whatever reason, the game decided that you had finished the Luculla mines and triggered it to fill with lava (spoiler: as it does when you escape it normally).

I do know that the unmodded game has numerous corrupted save and bug reports, and this mod can likely exacerbate that, but I don't know if this particular issue has been reported before or not. Sadly it's probably the case that the safest option is to reload a save before this issue occurred.
