Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition

Epic Encounters
Trying to merge Epic Encounters Mod with a separate skin and hair colour mod.
Not a lot of experience with the export tool, or modding as a whole, but here goes nothing.

After playing this version of the game, I literally can't go back (kinda like Lone Wolf-ish) but the one thing that's nagging at me is that I've lost access to all the hair and skin colors I've modded on the original game.

Epic Encounters seems to have altered the same file (properties.lsx - correct me if I'm wrong) that the mod I've been using (https://www.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin/mods/97?tab=description) has also modded. The result is, drum roll, that it overrides all those skin and hair colors :/

If I were to go about merging the two mods' functionality, where in the Epic Encounters mod should I put the data of the other mod in question? Would I need to unpack the EE mod in Norbyte's Export Tool before hand, too?

Thankies for reading.:steammocking:

Hi, this is way late but I have been doing some mixed modding with EE lately and came across this. You will need to use the developer files. They are on nexus, so you don't need to unpack them yourself.

How it seems to work is: if the filename is an exact duplicate in the main game folder and EE, the EE version takes precedence. So you have to put your edits into their file of the same name.

When you have the developer files, it is going to be here:

Epic Encounters Developer v1-1-9-5\Data\Mods\Epic_Encounters_071a986c-9bfa-425e-ac72-7e26177c08f6\CharacterCreation\properties.lsx
