INI file
The server me and my friend run is using this mod. We are finding the costs way too cheap to upgrade. We see that you can adjust these values in what the mod author say is the .ini file but all we find in the mod folder is .uasset files. Are we looking in the wrong spot? How can we adjust these values?

Thanks in advance.

Did you ever find out where they're located?

So I'm having this trouble to. I've looked through all the files in the mod folder but can't find the ini for this mod. Can someone tell me where it is?

The ini file is located in this path in where you saved your ark server folder

(server folder location)\shooter game\saved\config\windowsserver\gameusersettings.ini

Also, you dont change settings in there you add to the ini file. For example, on a server we played on a while back we added these entries:

[UpgradeStation]
UpgradeMultiplier=1.75
UpgradeExponentialMultiplier=1.55
MaxUpgradeQualityIndex=5
UpgradeDisallowedItems=
UpgradeStatIncreaseMin=1500
UpgradeStatIncreaseMax=6000
FortuneQualitySkipChance=5
FortuneReducedResourcesChance=10
FortuneReducedResourcesMultiplier=0.25
FortuneIncreasedSalvageChance=10
FortuneIncreasedSalvageMultiplier=2
FortuneUpgradeFailedChance=5
FortuneUpgradeFailedResourcesMultiplier=0.10
DisableSalvage=False
SalvageMultiplier=.25

Hope this helps

Thank you very much! I was getting confused because I was thinking there was another ini file for this mod that had the settings already in it. I wasn't thinking about it being apart of the main ini file. I feel stupid, but Ark is to blame.

Hey man, I felt just as stupid as you when I was in your shoes. No reason to feel stupid at all. Hell I work in computers for a living and took me long enough to figure out.

If you need more help let me know :)

On a side note, once you have added the new entries in the .ini file if you want to change, then yes you do just edit the numbers.

Thanks bud. I work in Computers as my hobbies, building them and such, some coding and dedicated servers for other games. Ark is a whole different sort of beast when it comes to a private server. Never in my life have I seen a game more complicated to try and figure out as far as settings go.

At one point I thought about doing some modding on Ark, but I'm beginning to think it'll be just as complicated.
