A thank you letter to Killface
Killface, you made arguably one of the most unique mods that Rimworld has ever been graced with hands down. Animation is pretty non-existent in this game and this mod breathed someseriously needed life into it. Once I installed this mod….. there was no going back. That is why on behalf of the Rimworld community, I beg you please come back to us or mentor a modder to take up your mantle on this fantastic and, in my opinion, necessary mod. If it’s about the money,I can’t speak for everyone but, I for one would support you on patreon if you posted it in the mod section.

We would be even grateful if you went through and commented important sections of your code because the kind of coding you did is very different from the coding most of us are used to for making weapons, items, consumables, etc etc.

If you don’t have the time to mod anymore and don’t want anything to do with Rimworld, we all still thank you for making Rimworld a more immersive place and I personally thank you for the dedication and massive sink hole of time you’ve had to spend on this great mod.

Thank you for your kind words and your appreciation.
I quit modding RW as my last 500 hours of play time consisted of testing and bug fixing.
There was also a 9 months gap between the B18 and B19 release, which changed lots of stuff regarding health and body parts which explains some of the bus people currently face. Sorry for that.

It was never about the money, I had fun playing and exploring RimWorld and adding things which didn't exists beforehand. If I wanted to make a living out of modding, I should have started adding drugs to The Sims 4 ;) Currently I just don't see why I should work on something for free I don't use. Feels too much like paid work without incentive.

The mod is still up on Github and it's open source, so anyone is free to start working on and shaping it to his/her liking. That's how I started modding, with zero knowledge.

I just discovered this post. I want to add my gratitude to bigbdog666 message. Thank you, Killface, for making and sharing a wonderful mod. Probably my all time favorite (and I played with more than 100 different mods). I will enjoy it until the last moment. All the good luck in the world for your future projects. Until next time!
Hopefully Killface will lick some blood with again with the new update :D
