Hello. This is more of a critique rather than looking for answers, but this mod does a lot of stuff great and I find having such strong creatures around you rather enjoyable. PS Don't listen to the beginners guide to extinction core it is trash and makes no sense. My issue is that I can't tame a alpha for the life of me. The kibble you can make now only ups the taming percent by 2% even on a lvl 20 alpha dilophosaur. I got some specific animal kibble from killing tribesman which are insanely op unless on a high hp mount, and used it to tame a alpha sabertooth. I don't want to have to kill tribesman hoping to god that I might be able to tame a alpha that I can knock out. Now there are 2 alternatives to kibble, treats and golden kibble. Both are obtained from very rare dinos where you tame them and put them on wander but you need treats to tame one. I looked for 2 hours over all of crystal isles for a easter bunny and couldn't find it. There are no resources online to help point us in the right direction and as such I gave up, you can't get the golden kibble without it so :( My level capped at 65 and I have no clue as to why since there are supply drops I cant open until level 200? All the supply drops have busted loot though, there aren't many new items in this mod that were useful to me besides a reusable grappling hook and parachute. Along with after a bit alpha creatures stopped dropping loot and it felt like there was no way to progress in this mod without taming a alpha which I CANT DO, I gave up.There are prime creatures which are stronger than normal but I found 2 different types in my time playing and they were just as strong as alphas. You could definitely beat the game without taming a single alpha and when taming one is so hard you might just ignore them but then whats the point of the mod. This mod was fun but it's impossible to progress so I gotta take a break. The way this mod could fix it's issues is by having a updated wiki or more openness on what maps are key for this mod to work. A spawn map of ANYTHING or some understanding of spawn mechanics for this mod would make it so great but there's nothing.
