Megalania Toxin Farm?
Is there a easier method to obtaining this to make detox? So far the I've just been finding lowbies in caves and knocking them out over and over, collecting the 2 toxin each time.

So I'm still fairly new to EC, that said IF you can kill apex's (raptors aren't terribly hard with a boss with 1500 armor saddle, or I'm assuming a really strong alpha rex/spino), they drop trophy packs which literally give you every single trophy. Raptors give 5 of each, carnos give 10, rex's give 15. I haven't found an apex giga yet, that said I'm assuming they give 20+ of each. I've got so many toxins at this point it's pretty silly.

As someone who is new to the game and progression is fairly fresh, what is your biggest accomplishment you would say so far or best alpha?

My big tipping point was getting a griffin, into a titan, then into a broodmother. After that, I just farmed broodmother materials for her 1500 armor saddle, the pelt (the pelt grind was stupid...if you're on a MP server see if you can trade it from others, same with prime blood). Since I've tamed broodmother the biggest problem I had was killing dragon multiple times to get his 1500 armor saddle after I tamed him. <- Just a small bit of advice if you're looking to really push into boss territory

EDIT: I've also heard...that a tamed megalania on wander generates it, although I can't confirm. Another alternative is to tame a breeding pair (doesn't have to be great stats/level) and hatch babies and they generate toxin when you kill em (savage ikr). I can't confirm this, I haven't done it.

Actually, breeding Megalanias can be a good way to farm Toxins. You'll need to kill them by hands though, which means it'll be trickier on a PvE server with limited mods.

For hunting Megalanias, best way to do this is to bring rare flowers and eat them inside caves to aggro them. They're notoriously hard to see, despite being huge lizards.
