is it possible to tame the alpha dodorexy?
the sheet says it cant be passive tamed with the alpha helmet, you cant trap it because it destroys metal gate in ONE HIT, if you try to tranq it from a cliff, it will run away in a random diretion and be next to impossible to tranq.

how is this thing even supposed to be tameable if it cant be trapped or passive tamed and runs away?

followed it with rock drake when it ran away, and shoot the lil bastard... or anything else that you can shoot from mounted and can keep up with it works fine

I was lucky and mine got itself stuck in a rock. Easy tame after that.

two bows , shock arrows and tranq arrows .

I usually trap my dinos up against a cliff with behe gates in a wide U shape..so when they are looking up at me on the cliff i can shoot them and when they try to run b/c of torpor they won't attack the gates

The special metal tranq arrows will usually knock out just about any dino with a single shot, including alphas. I have knocked out many dodorexy with a single arrow. This means you don't need to trap them, just get close enough to get off a single shot as the thing rockets towards you. Just don't misss ;)

Alternate stun arrows with compound tranq arrows, anything but a boss is solo tameable with this method.
