Cannot KO Alpha Wyvern
Hey guys. So I've been trying to tame this fire alpha wyvern for a while now i pumped 150 poison arrows into him but he would not go down. the wiki says you can KO tame them but I have no idea how to KO them I thought poison arrows were the strongest tranq method but they seem to be doing nothing. The wyvern is only level 25 and my compound bow is at 600% damage as well and I can knock out most other alphas in just a couple of shots. Any suggestions on what to do?

Im pretty sure they actually changed wyvern tames. I believe now the Alpha Wyvern works the same as the normal one, where its not tameable anymore and you have to find an Alpha Wyvern Egg

Can I somehow increase the chances of more spawning nests?

You can also passive tame a alpha wyvern

I am high enough level to passive tame, but I don't quite understand how passive taming alphas work. I cant seem to get an alpha carnivore helmet so they wont attack me and even if i do how would i get high enough to reach the wyvern to passivly tame it?

Catch one alpha to cage/cave (depend on what map are u playing). Cage must be away from other dino that A.Wyvern can agrroed to.

Then like all other alphas, use the carni helmet and wyvern milk.

oh ok sweet thanks... I have a herbivore helmet, but have no idea how to get a canri helmet. Any idea on how to get that?

I tried your method yesterday but it’s not worked for me. I catched wild female lvl 124 alpha fire wyvern I put the wyvern milk to the last slot on my inventory (0) but she didn’t want to eat the wyvern milk. I used carnivore helmet .

I trapped it between tek pillars and ceillings .. With helmet & milk, the passive tame doesn't appears ?

So Im not exactly sure what you guys are doing, but Im fairly certain their passive tame with the helmet will function the same way any other passive tames will. If they're aggro'd to something, or spooked, you cant tame them. Such as if you punch a dodo, it'll run away and wont give you the option to passive tame it until it's calmed down. So if you guys are aggro-ing the wyvern into a pen, you'll have to back up out of the area until it de-aggros.

So, the alpha wyverns can only be optained by alpha nests and maybe passive if it still works.

Would anyone know where the alpha nests would be located on Ragnarok? Or are they a random event that replaces a regular wyvern nest?

On Rag Wyvern nests are in the little lava trench, ice ones are in the frost biome, you'd have to look up a map for ice onces since they're kinda scattered

Passive tame is currently broken as of last patch on ragnarock. I have not tested other maps.
