prime Titanoboa taming issues?
I'm having alot of issues taming a Prime Titanoboa. The issue is that I can't seem to access it's inventory once it's knocked out. there is no inventory option at all, so i can't feed it any kibble. with the new boa venom requirement, would really like to be able to tame one to collect venom. please can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

1. shoot with shoot darts
2. knock out
3. try to access inventory (E, F, etc) . .nothing seems to work. shows "Tamable by anyone". but no prompt to access inventory, etc.

any advice?

Same here, shock darts as it says on the creature guide, unable to access inventory and no visible torpor amount, wakes up after a while and if i knock it out again, same problem.

Hey guys,
i have the sameproblem with taming prime titanoboas. i tried to knock them out with shocking darts. that worked well. after the boa is stunned i can not do anithing...

- no access to the inventory
- stunning degree bar buggy
- cant act with the stunned body anyway

someone knows what to do? how can i tame this boas if it seems to be buggy?

Thanks for your help

Same Problem here... Man the devs, 3 Venom for 1 Sedative and the only way i can get it now (since Boas dont drop Venom anymore) is to hope that a Ghillie Alpha or Thane Chieftain spawns so that i can get 15 Venom to build 5 more Sedas... wtf

Yo guys I fed dropped a wyvern egg while being chased by a prime titanoboa and it ate it and it was tamed. Give it a shot :D

"NOTE: Prime Boa's can't be tamed due to an dated ADK version - This will be fixed with a later update." - posted on the last patch notes

@Cyriis Oh ok didnt read that, thanks! But then it's an even better idea to change the Seda Requirements to Boa Venom if you KNOW that currently no Prime Boa can be tamed :D

Still the same issue and its been several months...

You can tame a prime titanboa. Just like the normal ones
"To tame the Titanoboa you have to drop a fertile egg near it, while it is not distracted in any way (it doesn't work if the Titanoboa is aggroed to attacking something, including your character). The Titanoboa will "attack" the egg and eat it, gaining taming progress. The ancestry (e.g. the levels of the parents) of each fertilized egg will not affect the taming speed.

The best way is to drop the egg from above while riding a flying mount. But drop the egg from your own inventory, when dropping from the mount's inventory the Titanoboa will ignore it."

Thanks Sagang, I was trying using the method given in the Extinction core documentation, will try what you outline above.

They can be tamed however it's a bit buggy. If it's not eating the egg try to aggro the boa. Sometimes that will cause it to eat the egg it's focussed on.

Yeah, took me about 2 hrs to tame the 280 Prime T. As you said its buggy, sometimes it eats the egg, sometimes it sits there looking at it for a while.
The other thing is that it aggros from things quite far away, have to keep clearing the area during the taming process, it can hit something else without losing taming progress but if it gets hit then its back to 0, ouch.
So, patience, lots of eggs, lots of effort and lots of clearing is necessary, lol.
But, it does work.

I have thrown wyvern eggs down but the boa just sits there with it until a normal snake comes along and eats it - is this still buggy?

I got it - it just takes time.

You have to throw eggs out of your inventory, not your dinos. Put a Ghillie Suit on, eat some Cactus Broth if you have access to it and drop some fetilized eggs (I use Wyvern) in a big pile in front of the Prime Boa. Make sure it's not aggroed on you or anything else.

The easiest method is to build four stone behemoth gates around them and stand on the top of the gateway and throw them down. Taming them is extremely slow, a 150 Prime Titanoboa on 1x Taming Speed was only getting 3% per Wyvern Egg and ate one every 10 minutes or so.
