the server I'm on has vanilla levels (150 max wild) so we don't get that kind of wacky-ass high level stuff, although we can level up our tames +150 additional levels. The world bosses wandering the map tend to have around 200k HP, even Broodmother, so unless vanilla Broodmother was nerfed down to that, I think these aren't an accurate representation of arena bosses.
My current setup for fightings bosses (though I'm not ready) consists largely of Alpha Direwolves, Alpha Chalicos, normal Rexes, an Alpha Carno, Alpha Dire Bear, etcetera. All are between lvl 200-300 or higher, and the normal rexes have Ascendant-level saddles. I won't try for a boss fight until I have a full 20 dinos ready (I'm a solo player)
Higher difficulties I haven't done yet
Off topic though I wanted to ask if anybody has any experience taking on dragon arena with EC. I want to tackle it next but I'm not sure with what all I'd need to prepare for it, or if dodorexy would be any good for killing it.
My server has same max level as you. I took on the Dragon (on Easy/Gamma) mode. Aside from dodging fireballs at the start, it was obscenely easy. Once it landed, everyone pounced and mauled it and it was dead within a minute. The only major problem was that one of my alpha direwolves got stuck in the lava and died long after the Dragon was dead.
