Easiest way is to kite it to the nearest cliff or high rock where it won't be able to reach you. -- Alternatively, if you're playing with friends and you have a wyvern tamed, you can pick it up in their claws and have another person on the ground below you shoot it out of their claws. (Just be careful, because it may still be able to attack the wyvern from the claws.)

If you want to passive tame alphas, you need to wear herbivore/carnivore helm. Therizino is herbivore so you need to wear herbivore helm. Personally I prefer to knock alphas out instead of passive tame. From what I've read about this taming method with helm it is like taming trike if it sees you, you are dead :D

Except it isnt. You tame them by tranqing and giving it megalosaurus kibble. He needs a bunch but he's tameable by tranq.

according to the taming chart you cant K.O. tame it and you cant saddle tame it. and you can passive tame it at level 90. so either youre wrong or the chart needs some updating.

Then it needs updating cause I tamed 2 of them yesterday. It took a while to farm enough megalosaurus kibble to get them cause they need more than the average alpha. They also eat other kibbles but thats painfully slow. Also there was no saddle needed, just a regular tame.
