Robes vary, the fur ones are better against cold. None of them are better than the others from what i can tell.
- So far for Tsathoggua.
- Tier one
Sleeper of N'kai. : Summons an idol that can put raiders to sleep.
Black ichor. : Spawns a small amount of fine meals called black ichor. (It's better to use mother of goats from chub niggurath if you desperately need food, but these meals are prepared, so less work, more happiness.)
- Tier two (watched)
Summon formless spawn. : Summons a powerful, highly resistant formless spawn. This thing takes almost no pain, has natural plunt armor of 40%, and natural sharp armor of 5%. Has an insane amount of HP, and does up to 40 damage with burns, meaning t hey cause more pain, down enemies easily. Hard to train at a wildness of 95%, but ircc one of the fastest, best release animals out there, especially if you want people alive.
TIP : Do not train monsters whilst you have strange meat lying around, it can cause them to go insane, which normally hardly happens. If your formless spawn goes beserk you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
- Tier three (Unknown)
At this point we should make a wiki ^^
I get the +10 for "some people using good attire" with Tsagothua preacher using simple hood and wrap cultist vestments*.
Nyarlatothep : nyarlathotep hood + wrap vestment.
Dagon : mitre + traditionnal vestment.
Hastur : everything yellow (unlike traditionnal vestment description says, use yellow robe rather than traditionnal)
Shub : goat mask + druidic vestment.
and Cthulhu naturally tentacled + his mask.
* most of the public are in cultist robes and hood but I always get 0/15 for 'all attendants wore correct apparel" ; perhaps it's needed to give them all the same gear as the preacher ?
By the way another category I always get a 0 for is the sacrifice dagger. All my priests have cult krisses (tried to make them in steel, plasteel, silver, gold...) but they always get 0/5 for 'a sacrifice dagger was wielded", even if I make them drop every other weapon (I'm playing with simple sidearms).
And finally, while eclipse etc... work fine "stars are right" doesn't seem to work correctly. It actually gives a negative bonus (-20 iirc), substrating to your chances instead of increasing them.
- allow to prevent prison escapes, just put a sleeper idol in range of prison exit
- insta kill most monsters (including star vampires) who seem coded to die if unconscious to prevent capture, put a sleeper near turrets and star vampires are no threat
the significant things i remember about is the ability to give a colonist claws and melee dodge; and the ability to morph cat animal into a stronger egypt-style cat
with a little digging one can still find a lot of usefull info tho
AND THIS IS THE DAMN WRONG PLACE FOR THIS DEBATE!
please someone clean up here and delete all the moronic posts aswell as the one i am writing here.
