Mini Manticores

GUS Ini Settings
Mini Manticores now has the following customisable settings in your server or single player Game User Settings Ini using the header [MiniManticore]

SpawnMultiplier=

This will increase the amount of wild Manticores that spawn per area. This must be a whole number, putting 1.5 will do nothing, putting 2 will double the amount of wild spawns. Bear in mind that the default is 8 spawn areas, each spawning 1 Manticore, so a setting of SpawnMultiplier=2 will spawn 2 Manticores per area and so on and so forth.

CarryWeight=

This will change the maximum carry weight that a Manticore can carry. The default is 200 and it has no cap, so if you really want your Manticores to be able to carry Titanosaurs feel free to make it a really big number. Similarly you can also choose to lower it if you feel that Manticores should only be able to carry smaller creatures.

Damage=

This will give a straight up multiplier to the base damage amounts.

Extreme=

This will give a straight up multiplier to Manticores stats. This will change the Manticores Health, Stamina, Weight, Food and Torpor. This option is there for users of OP dino mods such as ACA or Anunaki. This will of course also effect wild Manticores as well as tamed.

Torpidity=

This adds a new multiplier solely for the high torpor C attack. setting it to for example 10 would multiply the C attack to do 10 damage and 1500 torpor at 100% melee. This stacks with the current Damage= multiplier, so for example having the following;

Damage=10
Torpidity=10

Would cause the left and right click attacks to do 10x more damage, and the C attack to do 100 times more damage (therefore 100 damage, 15,000 torpidity at 100% melee)

Hey there, sorry to bother you but I'm somewhat new to certain things just a question or two.

So for example, I know about the multipliers for example the stat per level(i.e. 1.0 is basically the default, pre nerfed star per level) So instead for example for the Manicores I'd put something like this:

[MiniManticore]
Damage=75 so its base damage would then be 75, or be something like 1.0, 2.0 and so on? Just a visual example would help.

Hey Sion, it's a multiplier rather than an absolute value. So putting 2.0 will double the Manticores damage, 3.0 will treble it and so on and that same multiplier will be applied to all of its attacks.

So therefore, if you wanted the base damage to be 75, you'd need to put

[MiniManticores]
Damage=1.5

That would boost the base damage to to 75 for the left click attack, and 105 for the right click.

Sadly for me they dont like to spawn on the Center - but anyway.. i can summon them..
Its like with Alphas - i dont have any Carno Alpha and just 1 Raptor and 1 Rex Alpha - whatever - one of my used mods sucks balls lol and idk what one ruins the normal expierience lol

So i just summoned 2 Mants Level 1 Female and 1 Male and let them make babies to spread them to the world lol

Been playing around with the damage modifiers on our server with Extinction Core.
Stats seems pretty stable now, only the amount of torpor done to high level dinos is ridiculously low. Does like 2k torpor to dino's who need 200k torpor to go down. Maybe you can add a torpor multiplier in the .ini?

Also the ranged poison ball attack seems broken, no range plus "balls" explode on the manticore when used (maybe I should add this to bugs section..).

The poison ball isn't a ranged attack, it's an AOE. I might look at making a seperate torpor modifier,

Makes sense then. A seperate torpor modfier would really be a great addition for servers with higher level dinos, so it's worth considering.

when i put

[MiniManticore]
Damage=1
Torpidity=5000
SpawnMultiplier=2

The right click doing 100 torpor but 500K of damage^^ i don't wan't that on my server, i want 5000 torpor and 10000-15000 of damage, you think it's possible?

The torpidity multiplier only effects the C poison ball attack, not the Right click sting attack.

yes sorry, I meant the ctrl, i make 850k of damage so I can not use the torpor of the ctrl attack. my overridedifficulty set it's on 25 and ifiiculty on 1.

I found a good balance, torpor on 500 doing 17k+ torpor and damage with my server difficulty, so it's good for me ;)

I have configured my server settings to allow more levels after taming - the default is 71, I modified that number. However, the mini manticores are not affected by this change. Could someone help me out with this? I assume, to get this working, I'd need to add a line in under the [MiniManticore] tag.

Any reply is appreciated, even if you don't have an answer. Would love to know if anyone else is experiencing similar. Thanks guys. (:
