cool, this could serve as a quick reference easily visible to people looking at the NEx2 page.

I hope to publish my collection tomorrow. I'm getting a few people to review and provide feedback.

nice! added. poised to use widgets for the above list... it's compact for now

I think this theme would fit very well into guides with a good description why it is better to avoid NExt2.

It would right? There's been some pretty eloquent descriptions of why on the main thread, i'll try to grab a good one, or if anyone has one...

added and created the guide

Keep the guide unlisted while it's not finished. That's an option, right?

Why is NExt2 on the list? XD

Being a self-proclaimed net expert, there's nothing in the list I didn't know about haha, so ,good stuff. I'm not decided if I should keep the 8 lane pack (and another 6-lane one I know about) since I feel like focusing on pretty complete collections. There are tons of good options one should search for if you have more specific needs. Maybe I'll keep them as extra options.

Idk much about using these discussions or forums much. imo this is fine.

I've spent enough hours on my collection so I can't contribute to a guide. I might make a simple, bulleted guide on my collection anyway, you can expand on it later if you want. Key thing is to use Road Removal Tool, but if you have any doubts, need more certainty, or just like doing things manually, Find It's locator, Network Skins' picker, Move It's picker, and Picker (lol) can be helpful. There's an upcoming mod too.

TouchThis is another mod you want to have if you want to use assets that use NExt2. For example, Find It took me to my train station and I was like... what? Why are you pointing at this station? Then I realized it had pathways that use NExt2's pedestrian roads. So I had to use TouchThis to unlock and replace them.

So people wanting to use assets that use NExt2 may want to temporarily sub NExt2 to load and "clean" these assets. (I have no idea what happens if you try to load these things without NExt2 subbed.)

ya, it's not actually a guide, just using the 'guide' format that has more options.

just noticed NExt in the list hehe, it's from the 'export', i keep it in my list for comparison and forget to take it out here

I would really like to use some of these alternatives, but is there an easy way to replace the roads used ? I read about some mod that highlights the roads.

Not sure about easy, but Sp3ctre18 has mentioned a few, i've added them to this page
