BICE team blessing
Currently there's disbalance with subs, does this mod try to keep in line with basic vision of original mod?

Well if you're in contact with original mod developers who tell you why and how things are balanced or how they'd like them to be and this mod follows that then I'm running with this mod since original mod doesn't release stuf quickly enough when they get things terribly wrong. Also if this is what's happening then you could title this mod as BICE alpha, which means that this mod is about releasing new features/quickfixes/patches as soon as possible.

How different it is to black ice then?

Considerably different, especially in terms of game balance and AI. The main difference is that many of the unique production lines in BICE (such as desert equipment for desert support, two types of horses - one for horse artillery and one for cavalry) have been streamlined. The player can handle BICE production queues correctly, but with too many of these present the AI will struggle to produce divisions correctly, and in vanilla BICE the AI will typically not produce anything other than the division types it starts with.

The AI is completely overhauled. I would go as far as to say the vanilla BICE AI is not currently functional at all in its objectives / gameplay; it frequently abandons fronts, can't appropriately defend in several places at once, etc. While it is still possible to 'game' the AI if you know what you're doing, it is significantly improved and the AI can actually make progress on a front somewhat realistically now. Good example is Japan in China, which is capable of pushing in. This is partly the result of excellent AI defines, and partly the result of balance changes (such as reducing convoy weight). This is still very much a work-in-progress, however, and there are some things which can't be changed due to Paradox hardcodes.

There are considerable visual and localisation improvements in-process as well, to improve on unique trees and for minor nations.

It runs and plays much more smoothly than vanilla BICE.

Do you plan on adding some of the more fleshed out naval and armored trees BICE currently has?

If u want historical armored tree, check Historical Stats submod.
Keep up with what you are doing now. I have played both and BICE is broken in my opnion. they are overthinking everything and came to a point that they changed so many things without thinking in AI and ballance that they simply cant undo anymore. They would probably be better by picking your mod and starting all over again.
Producing 4 tipes of trucks?!?!!? Its suposed to mean motorisation of a unity.
Producing 3 types of Horses?? N types of reccon equipment,engineer equipment, and the list goes on...
I cant get ride of panzer I production in BICE, basically because the panzer II template dont use light tanks, but x panzers II and n panzers I. to get ride of it i need the panzer III template, that uses panzers II and III
Their air research tab is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess.
They added so much stuff that their current version has a 99% crash ratio....

I agree 100%
I like this mod much more than BICE, not because BICE is dead in its current version, but because there is way too much micro management in production lines.
@Total War Mod developers: keep it smooth ;-)
