Sid Meier's Civilization V

(1) Community Patch

diplomacy button disabled
The diplomacy button in the top right has been non functioning when I enabled this patch, Also all the individual civilizations that appear on the righthand side of the screen have disappeared so the only way I have to contact other civs is to click on there cities. May be caused from an intereraction with another mod since I'm running a ton of them. Any ideas?

List of other mods you're running would be helpful

Im running civ V only with community patch and related mods (1 to 7), and the whole panel to the right is gone (civs, their points, leaders miniature etc). Also there is no panel for espionage and other things (the one that was under strategic resources and turn counter). I love playing civ V on your mods, i hope it is something that can be fixed

I'm having the same problem. I'm running Community Patch v .88
Community Balance Overhaul v 13
City State Diplomacy Mod for CBP v 27
C4DF CBP v 11
More Luxuries CBO Edition (5-14b) v 155
6a Community Balance Overhaul - Compatibility Files (EUI) v 1

I was able to fix the problem by deleting the entire patch and reinstalling it. Of note, it had installed to my computer's administrator account, but was playing (and perhaps updated?) to my games account.

I had the same problem with the diplomacy button, etc. after I installed Vox Populi with the new enhanced user interface. Even if the CP was the only mod installed, the diplomacy button did not work. This was true whether or not I was running any mods, including the CP. Once I had the new user interface, the diplomacy button was inactive, and no popups to tell my when I met a new city state. So I conclude it is an issue with the enhanced UI. But the enhanced UI does not seem to be a stand-alone mod. Is it?

I uninstalled everything related to CIV 5. I had to go and physically delete the CIV5 folders under my steam apps and under my user directory in order to truly get rid of everything; just saying "uninstall" either to Steam, and/or through Control Panel (I am running Windows 7) was not sufficient.

Then I re-installed CIV5 through Steam, and got the Community Patch through Steam.
So I am now running the OLD, original user interface. And the CP (only). And the diplomacy button works again.

I did not re-try getting all the mods through Vox Populi without the new user interface.

But I have to admit I actually kind of like the new user interface. Just wish it did not apparently misbehave in this way. Is there another mod not part of Vox Populi that just updates the user interface?

Try older versions of EUI. That fixed it for me.

This update completely broke EUI - it is not functioning at all. Also, most other other UI capabilities are missing including diplomacy and "Infoaddict". I wish I never installed v89 - its a real mess! What the heck??? So where do get older versions of EUI? How can I back to v 88 of community patch?
