BUG: multiple monitors / DPI and background image
I repost my bug here, because I don't want to follow the comments ;)

Other wallpapers I tried seemed to work (in the simple case to enable it)

The (custom) background image has a different position (size, ...) as set normally (without the tool).
On the monitor the VU meter is below the display so I see only the top of it (see screenshot)
Screenshot[s6.postimg.org]

Wallpaper is on both monitor individual set - I mean not together (Wallpaper setting; don't know the name...)

specs
Resolution is on both: 1.920x1.080
On my laptop I have 13.3" and on my monitor 23"
Windows 10 is set to 150% on my laptop and 100% on my monitor (I think)
The background is set to "fill" ("Ausfüllen" in German)

Hey, Did you try the Beta? Biohazard said it should be fixed in the experimental build. You can find info how to opt-in on the beta here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/350544272219415004/

( also, steams says im a developer in these discussions, im not! )

Sorry I have to update this post:

Screenshot[s6.postimg.org]

I found a new bug - but I guess it is (again) a WallpaperUI bug, isn't it?
Or are there new settings I missed (haven't use the software for a while ^^')?

There are new settings, but it should not interfere with your old settings, and it shouldnt only cause half a screen to be rendered. But did you set the same image as background for windows too? As the right screens has 2 background images so to speak? My wallpaper shouldnt be able to do that.

I am guessing its a bug in WE itself. as I can't think of a situation where my code would render the background in that manner. It either cover the whole screen or should fit the screen, but never just part of a screen.

Yes I have it set in Windows 10 too.
I only launch WE if I have music playing and today was such a day again :D

Yeah, I would submit it to bugs and include the screenshot :) Possibly your dpi settings too. I believe Bio has been working on some DPI stuff in the last update that was released 1 or 2 weeks ago.

Well I'll do that!
Thank you.
Do you think the specs in this post are enough?

Probably :) And you can use the german terms too ( ausfullen ), as Bio is german :D

Thank you very much :D
I often [i}support[/i] developers (I'm also one - in education) and this conversation was the best I every had :3

Thnx :) But having this wallpaper as a hobby project and not getting a lot of bug reports it is easier than within a normal job where you are limited by time and resources and possibly don't care about the project as you are just there for the income. Just wait till you work for some boring boss on some boring project ( most coding projects are boring ) in some office :)
