Locating Wrecks to Salvage

I'm having trouble finding wrecks, do they have set spawn locations?
Currently playing on the new map and I've only seen 1 or 2 after a good 3-4 hours of playing.

No random wrecks. Kill vehicles - theres your wrecks =)
Also, you want a mine for iron. Not wrecks
