Stability
Have i missed something in regrads to rhe way stability works? Ie, Kill NATO to lower it, till under 10% then fight off the assault to regain the stability, but while doing this the Criminal forces that spawn and the ones for bounties i think improve the stability? Now is that not counter productive surely killing criminals should gain stability but also lower NATO control as it is showing the populus that NATO can't keep them safe and whatnot.

Stability should have two counters i think, one for NATO another for the Resistance (IE the player) thus killing both NATO and Criminals would gain stability for the Resistance and lower it in Nato's favour, or does it work like this i am just being dense ?

it feels vague, what i did is i killed all nato in the area, so it starts spawning criminals. After that i left them to do whatever, hoping the criminals win the battles, it starts to lose stabiliy to the point it is in anarchy. then i go in and kill the criminals and i guess? its mine? i don't know but i could build stuff in the town/city, so i guess i took over... unlike the military bases it doesnt have a flag to show it's under resistance control. I could build a police station, IF the game stops bugging out and allowing my A.I to move and not get stuck due to no reason... the police station says that it increases the stability. but does not explain if it's resistance stability or nato stability...

From what i have gathered there is only one form of sablity, onces it in anarchy you shoudl get a mission thats the "battle for X" (X being the towns name), then kill the Nato troops that are send there, this can take some time as they have to travel for some place i assume the closest Nato installtion then its yours so to speak, assuming you get the stablity up to over 50%

When trying to take control of a town, avoid engaging with bandits. Only engage police and NATO. You can fast travel away and back to prompt the game to respawn more blufor troops. Also, take nearby radio towers to automatically lower stability.

But that doesnt fix the issue of stability being off, the group i played with we have almost the entire "starter" island under our control but the random attacks/ what ever was making the stablilty drop (even with the radio tower owned) made it impossible to really own them and move on to others, we constantly had to kill Nato attacks lowering our own stablitly till it was back in anarchy promting more attacks.

Hire lots of police. I think stability is automatically raised by 1 point per hour per 2 police hired. It also helps if you station an AA team on the north shore of the starter island as NATO attacks often come from the airfield on the island to the north. The AA team might kill the choppers before they can deliver the troops to your town/base under assault.

Police are near useless, yes they give alot of stablity over time, but if an assult does manange to get to the town, or the attack choopers they are just a waste of money, all that needs to be changed is have the stablitiy something akin to Antistasi method of doing it

I'm having the same issue as General Blyat, I've managed to put a poliece station in all the towns on the starter island, however now i am trying to move my things to the other island and i keep getting notifications to "defend" the bala airstrip constantly even after "completeing" the mission which makes it pretty much impossible to make any forward progression without constantly defending all the towns/towers/airfields. I had over 200 police in one town and when nato came to take it back they managed to kill 75% of them in less than a minute with an attack helicopter. It'd be nice if nato just never came back after you've "defended" the target from them once. I'd think they'd quit sending troops after i've killed hundreds of them. Love the mod! just wish i was able to controll the areas I've already conquered.
