Building Problems

First off: This is my first post ever, so I apologize if it's in the incorrect place.

Second (and the actual problem): I have tried to build a simple roof on a building and I don't know if it is just me, but there seems to be a piece missing from the mod. If anyone know's how to fix it let me know, but I'd prefer if it wasn't just a whole mashup of other parts.
