The previous bug reports thread has been archived, after 5 months of use the vast majority of bugs on the previous thread have been corrected. The recently posted and in progress reports on the previous thread have been noted onto a google spreadsheet which is worked on between mod updates :)

Greetigns, i tried the guide you gave me for fixing mod errors, i unsuscribed to the mod, deleted all the information form my computer and the server, reinstalled everything, but it didnt worked. The same error happens with this mod. It crashes the server when the structures are loaded in some manner, i dont know why, i can use the mod, build, respawn in the city, but then if i take a flyer and make a round when the structures are going to be loaded again... the server crashes. Your mod is the heart for my server, i really wish to find a cure for this crashing error <3
ok I am noticing a problem with the windmill and the waterwheel. Both are pretty much useless on a treeplatform build.

With that ^ being said.. I am trying to see if there may be a fix for one, or both parts that are giving use issues..

When placing the waterwheel below the platform. everything goes fine up until you try to snap the millstone onto the driveshaft. As we are building on a treeplatform over water, the water is under the platform. With this issue I am hoping that maybe we can get a longer driveshaft straight peice so that this thing will allow us to snap it to the ceiling rather then it snapping just undernether the ceiling (It only is under the ceiling just slightly when we place it but enough to where you can not use it at all.. all it gives you is a menu option)

With the windmill... Everything goes fine up until you try to place the main peice of the the windmill. We are working with extended ceiling on a platform (tree). It only allows you to place the main windmill (the bladed part) on a foundationed structure. I am not sure if this is done on purpose but I am hoping you will allow us to building on foundation or ceiling. (And on the build we are trying to do, we can't use a foundation peive for this. we can extend slightly further from the main tree platform, just enough to give us room for either a windmill or a waterwheel.. Buthonestly, something has to give because using these for this type of build is almost obsolete..)

How many other mods are you runnng on the server because It may not be this mod.. Our server is running about 13 mods, and so far noone has had an issue with crashing at all..

6 or so only sponsored ones, it might be the combination or even the order of them, I am making more tests, and then do again what the guide says
no 3...

The battlement machicolation are still problems. place machi battlement and 5 struktures over it... invisible block... pleace fix it.

It's a small problem with great negative impact :/

The snap point for junction is too close to wall(ends on junction stick through wall) so when vertical shafts are dropped down to connect to mill the mill is not centered in room and clips through wall and is visible on outside. Mill is working good however. Loving it.

  • Unable to connect Vertical or Horizontal drive shafts directly the the windmill.

Stair Railings dont really attach to the stairs.. They constantly float above or angle off in the wrong direction.

Almost every roof piece I have had to hit E on to reverse it to make them cover the house instead of outside of it.

Can pass a keep fireplace left and right through the wall but can not flush the back of it to a wall.

I cant get the tribe rankings to work for structures (ive only tested doors). No matter the player rank it will let them in the door, but not by toggling E, but by navigating to options and opening from the wheel.
I tested with S+ and S+ functions as normal, where when pin coded and tribe ranked they cannot access door. I only mention this so you understand its not an Ark issue.
This is an absolutely amazing mod btw!

We have some villager tier buildings on a Scorched Earth map - noticed today I wasn't keeping cool inside and they don't seem to be getting the same insulation values that adobe gets on this map.

It sounds like from the last small patch notes back in May that it's intended for CKFA pieces to work like adobe for insulation?

PLEASE fix your doors and gates so that when you pin code them, or they take damage you can still open them normally! Righjt now if they take even 1 pint of damage, or you put a pincode on them, you can't open them just by clicking on them, you have to go into the menu and click open. This is REALLY annoying and has led to my death trying to flee from a wild due to not being able to open my door to get back up fast enough.

Villager foundation and Wood foundations stacked on top of each other along with Keep Fireplace placed down on top seem to crash the server at the exact second of place down (doesnt place but is green and makes snap noise with no build) 2 of 2 times with countdown.

**Also, I am on the Bastion map if that makes a difference

Just make sure it is still connected, no parts are destroyed!

I had just built it, nothing was disconnected. tried with water wheel and windmill but couldnt get the grind wheels to turn and work. Will do some more work with it today when the server comes back up after patch is downloaded.
This is one of my all time favorite mods. It's gorgeous. Small problem with the portcullis frame, though. My allies are able to open the portcullis when it is unlocked but then they cannot close it so my city is filled with terror birds. Residents complain the streets aren't safe at night. Same goes for the behemoth keep gate that slides open (love the sliding gate, btw!!!). Conversely, the regular keep gate opens and closes fine for my allies. I have not tested the villager or settler gates. Is this inability to close the gate/portcullis an added feature or a bug? Thanks for the hard work!
