What is the logic with Aquaculture?
So I have been struggling for hours now to make sense of this mod

I have a basin with a hopper.
I need to set it to critical otherwise colonists wont put any egg(meat) on the hopper.
The result is all eggs(meat) produced gets put back on the hopper and it spoils.

the only way I can see this working is to constantly change the priority on the hopper.

This seems like a waste of time.

..and then most of the time the fish die without any explanation.

How does this work?
Does anyone have a youtube video showing this working because I can not see how this can be useful?

Even when there is eggs(meat) on the hopper the basin sits in "waiting for eggs".. Why?!?

What do I need to do?

Purpose of aquaculture is to breed fishes for their meat. This is renewable but expensive way of producing meat.
The basin requires power, food (vegetables) and maintenance.
Your pawns assigned to hunting will automatically use the basin to start a breeding cycle, maintain it and harvest production.

1) You must store vegetables in an attached hopper to supply the basin.
2) Basin uses 3 nutritions per day to feed the fishes (equivalent of 3 simple meals).
3) You can keep the room cool so the stored vegetables will not rot away.

Basin inspect panel displays a lot of info if something is wrong.

I hope it is clearer. Ask away if you need more info.

@Rikiki What foods work is this compatible with vegetable garden mods or not

@SirghostVongost: it should be compatible. Any standard non-hay vegies should be usable.

This doesn't seem to work with fungus, is there a reason why?
