FishIndustry

There is so much water in this world and you always dreamt to eat a fresh grilled fish! Here it comes, the Fish Industry debarks in Rimworld!

Features

- Fishing zone: designate a zone where your fishers can fish. Waters can be dangerous if tailteeths live in this biome.
- Fishing pier: simple building built on water. Allow your hunters to catch safely some fishes. Use corn or rice to fasten fish catch!
- Aquaculture basin: advanced building used to breed some aquatic species. Expensive renewable source of meat. Is unlocked by "Aquaculture" research after "Hydroponics".
- New recipes at the campfire (to cook a grilled fish simple meal).
- Oyster as joy food.
- New meditative joy activity on fishing pier (watching shiny water).

Important notes

- Fishing is a hunting job. The jobs' priorities are defined as follow: hunting > operating aquaculture basin > fishing at fishing pier.
- You can stop fishing activities by forbidding the pier or aquaculture basin.

@felixhelixer and @Le_Me: you are facing some mod incompatibility/funny side effect. Probably related to some race-framework mod.

@TwistedPain: there is fish stock info in the pier info panel. Stock respaw rate is influenced by several factors like temperature, biome, global effect...

@calculus: This is the first fishing mod for RimWorld (first release for Alpha 10!). There are only 5 kind of fishes to keep it simple and an aquaculture basin. I tried to balance the mod so it takes some time to catch something (as it takes time to hunt a deer at the other side of the map) and the fish stock is refilling slowly according to several environment factors.
You can alter differents parameters with the modOptions.
"Vanilla Fishing Expanded" adds way more fish species (too much to my taste).
Try both and choose the one you prefer!

Is the pier broken? I have hunting on (why isn't it running under fishing?) and my pawns still won't use it.

@felixhelixer I'm having that same issue. Some of the fish corpses I catch have tainted clothes as gear. Anyone have any leads on why this may be (aside from the subtle hinting at an unseen race of fish tribals beneath the marshlands where I reside ala gungans)?
