This mod is currently not in active development. It will still receive (compatibility) patches when a major game update releases though.

I'm getting an error during initialization with this mod active
Stolij  [developer] Aug 23, 2016 @ 12:48am

I would re-name batteries (assuming you drop the 'improvised one'): Battery, Advanced Battery and Glitterworld Battery (naming them with "tiers" seems kinda dry).

What do you mean by 110% efficiency? Do you mean, that you can take 10% more energy from the battery, than you put in? That's physical nonsense.

Also I would recommend to put the needed materials (and amounts) in the description.

Suggestion: add 'safe to add to colony you've already started' to post

What are the chances the new research can be moved into a new tab?
Stolij  [developer] Jun 22, 2019 @ 1:56am
hmm, does Rimworld now have a research tab system? I never noticed that, since I always replace the default research menu with ResearchPal.

What if the more advanced batteries had less chance of breaking down, or were immune to short circuits? Such as the Archotech battery which should be so advanced that it's pretty much stronger than a mountain.

Edit: I like using the circuit breakers mod because short circuits are annoying and can't be stopped, and batteries break down WAY too often... I just think that at a certain tech level short circuits and breakdowns just shouldn't happen.

@ThatDogYouKnow Thanks for your suggestion!

That does indeed sound like a thing that the more advanced batteries should be able to do.

Unfortunately, I haven't been actively developing (new) Rimworld mods for quite a while now. I do however still take the time to update/patch my existing mods when a new game update comes out though.

For anyone like me that gets annoyed by a game feature I found a mod that turns off short circuits, breakdowns, and solar flares: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1555743957

This seems like a pair of mods that would go PERFECTLY together: practically infinite and safe energy storage

I'd like to suggest to remove the extra workbench for creating the Archotech battery. It's a workbench with ONE purpose which seems like pointless clutter. Just keep it at the fabrication table?

@Mezz That does sound like quite a good idea actually. I'll take a look at changing that!
