In native, and this mod, the only way to see a minimap in battle is to call up the battle overview (backspace). However, some mods, Perisno for example, have a minimap permanently displayed in the top right.


My suggestion would be to include that feature as well. Its extremely handy over battles if you're the kind of player who prefers to command his troops around on the field as opposed to being a major combatant yourself.

It would be especially awesome if it could be tied into the skill system in some way. Like perhaps if you have 5 tactics skill the map will be enabled. It would be a neat feature and would give some further incentive to invest in the tactics skill which is typically fairly ignored / overlooked.
