Also my little Bro had a great idea of working them in as a nomadic fleet so Massive Waves are flowing across the galaxy. (Also could you make more nomadice events in on this mod, Ive played several 250 year plus games and ive never had the privladge of a visit
If i recall right there is a special system in the base game (does not spawn in every game) that is something like the home system of the crystals.
@christmas1 i think this might be a good idea for a small anomaly
The player must choose only 1 outcome the sacrifice will have. You could have a boon in research or turn the atmo of the planet to suport life. You could choose to get minerals and energy. Maybe a small fleet of ships or robot army in transport ships.
Also you lose a bit of happines due to losing a great leader.
You cant do anything with the brain scans even thou it adds a flag to your empire
It would be cool if you guys could finish it
Maybe there could be an event like that, where every now and again there's a racing league of some sort and various empires can join in with their teams, and sometimes your team could win or the other empire's team could win. Your empire could be selected to host the event every now and then as well, thereby upping your energy credits and it could hold the possibility for terrorist attacks from fringe groups who don't like you or the race.
Alternatively, it can only be hosted by races in their own alliances or federations instead of being a galaxy wide affair. Or it could just be a general Olympics type event with various athletes in races or competitions. Just an idea, I don't know how possible it would be.
And you can also support him, wich will give you a boost in research and unlock an dangerous tech-research option. If you stop him there is a chance that he continues the research outside of you Borders. Then he could try to sell it to you. If you accept you will get the scientist back + the fully researched technology. Or he could threaten you to use the technology against you. (Maybe with a very strong fleet that uses the certain tech + the same weapons you have). When he threatens you, you can still gain the tech by researching the fleet's debris.
1. Galactic EMP Event in which a neighbouring galaxy has exploded and a huge wave of electromagnetic energy has moved through intergalactic space to slam into your galaxy causing widespread devestation to all civs. The modifiers could be in effect for 48-96 months and might be as follows: energy credits -25%, mineral output -25%, pop growth -25%, and an immediate 50% damage to all fleets. This event could trigger once a player has a navy strength of more than 50000. If a player has 3 scientists with 5 stars then the duration of the disaster could be shortened.
2. Plagued Amoebas that cause pops in the systems they are in to have lower growth of -25%, and to actually have a percentage die off. As the plagued creatures move through the various systems the player will have to decide whether to kill them off. Spiritual societies will see it as a punishment from their gods and it will cause massive unrest to kill these messengers from the almighty or cause new factions to emerge.
3. Ambitious Leaders Cease Power is an event that would be triggered when the player has 3 governors with 5 stars. One of these leaders will try to seize power by organizing a coup in which 50% of the sector he is in charge of attack the loyalists. If the rebel leader holds off the player's attempt to defeat him for 24 months the sector becomes an independent state.
4. Currency Collapse Crisis would be triggered by 12 months of deficits. The value of the energy credits becomes questionable. The player would lost half of whatever credits and minerals he still has, and would suffer research penalties. The player would be forced to balance his books before the crisis would end. Civil unrest would also increase across his empire by 25%, higher still for materialistic societies.
That's it for now, battery is nearly dead...
