Bionics worth too much?
I understand the desire to make them expensive so you can't load up in the early game, but in the mid to late game, when you can start crafting them, I feel like they break the economy a little bit. I can buy gold for 7 each, use 5 to make a Golden Eye and sell that for 1100 to practically anyone. There's no point in crafting anything else, because I can just buy what I want from anyone.

Just think of them like iPhones. Than it will make perfect sense. ;D
I also agree that bionics are worth too much, and I wrote a post about it on the official ludeon thread. Basically a way to combat bionic moneymaking would be to make a system similar to deadman apparel.

Anything crafted by the player would have a (C) next to it, and anything harvested on the planet an (H). These items would have to have their values changed individually, but would only be worth say, 30% of their market value of the ones you get from merchants.

I'm not sure if the developer of this mod is currently working on it, apparently they left it alone for 3 months and only returned to update it for A16

Value of items is a combination of materials and work time. and the work time is really huge on many parts. I think mod maker used the vanilla formula for those values although and dont know it for sure.
