Immortality?
If I were to replace all a colonist's limbs and organs with advanced bionic parts and synthetic organs, as well as luciferium to cure old age problems, would they be biologically immortal? Or would they die directly from old age at one point?

Good question, i dont think you can get stuff like heart attacks with a synthetic heart. But theres still stuff like Alzhiemers too.

Well, since EPOE even gives you the option to "replace" the brain, yes, I think it would actually make your colonists immortal.

immortal but not invincible. I'd really like a mod that lets you recover bodies and rebuild them using science.

And this, my friends, is how Cybermen were created.

Well robots (er, mechanoids I guess in the Rimworld universe) are immortal. And if you replace a mans bodyparts with machines enough they pretty much become more machine than man at some point. Albeit I imagine that considering how rare much of the materials to make advanced bionics are it would be pretty redicously expensive to make a complete cyborg.

Honestly I dont think old age in your colonists is gonna be too much of a big deal anyways, unless you're planning on playing a single game of Rimworld for a LONG time. I guess if you start with an older colonist thats a problem but even then its gonna be rare that one of your colonists dies of old age.

Turning your colony into a army of cyborgs, and 'converting' your enemies into mindless borgs for your borg army as well?

Found a reddit post of someone who replaced parts as they got damaged. And the age meter bugged out before the character even died. Managed to reach 400 years old quite easily and even got to 550.

Wouldn't you be a robot at that point?
