UI errors in 1.0
While doing my own testing on 1.0, I ran into UI errors that appear from this mod specifically. To hopefully make it easier, this appears even when this is the only mod active.

Could not load UnityEngine.Texture2D at UI/Buttons/Robots/Recharging in any active mod or in base resources. Verse.Log:Error(String, Boolean) Verse.ContentFinder`1:Get(String, Boolean) AIRobot.X2_PawnColumnWorker_IsInRecharge:.cctor()

Looks like your mod isn't downloaded compleatly.
Please check this folder in your steam installation where Rimworld is installed:
...\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\724602224\1.5\Textures\UI\Buttons\Robots
Here you should find a file named Recharging.png.
This is the file he's trying to find. If that is not there, try to check your Rimworld files and it should be downloaded.

I'm afraid I haven't made the issue clear then. I'll provide better detail. This is an issue with the 1.0 version of the mod, not newer versions. 1.1 and up do not have this, or the following issues I experienced. Hopefully this will clear up confusion.

All expected textures for 1.0 are in the expected folder for 1.0, however neither bot displays their texture in game whether minified, installed, activated or deactivated, nor does there base station. Additionally there's an issue involving localisation for this version.

Looks like I figured the issue as I was going through it again. Most of it was just because the settings from newer versions of the game were causes errors because I didn't reset to defaults when downgrading. The texture compression setting was the main problem.

However, there are still errors related to the buttons for both the bots and base station. The textures don't appear except for one and the text is garbled. I couldn't find anything related to the textures for the buttons in the xml's so maybe it's an assembles issue?
