Extinction Core Compatability
I saw that there was a previous discussion relating to extinction core, but it didn't go in much depth so I wanted to try and get the right answers, along with possibly helping someone out along the way.

I am in the process of turing up a new server with your map and also wanted to add the extinction core mod to go along with it. My assumption is that they are compatible, but my initial turnup of the server failed and started with crashes. After a while of troubleshooting I managed to stop the crashing and everything looked fine, but when trying to join the server for the first time I would get the initial login screen and then it went completely black for a while before timing out.

I am hoping this may have been an issue with one of the mod downloads and I am in the process of finishing up a clean install of the server and mods, but I wanted to double check and ensure that this map is in fact compatible with extinction core and see if anyone has had an issue similar to this before.

Just an update I did get the server up and running with extinction core and everything seems to be ok thus far. I did see an issue with the boss's being invisible, but that is a known bug in extinciton core. The only issue I'm still having is with the custom max dino levels. I changed the official difficulty to 7 which should change the max wild dino level to 840, but that doesn't seem to be doing the trick, but I'll keep messing around with it.

Added Core to my Skies map (S+ and Wicked Creatures installed and running) ... server would not restart. CORE was right behind the map and first in mods on the priority load. Not sure wth happened. Removed CORE and it booted right up again. Interested in what anyone else learns or knows.

Not sure if it matters but I have custom levels written in on game.ini to 600.

Yes my server is up and I have been able to restart it multiple times now as well. I have custom levels on mine for both player and dino up to 300. I'm running 12 mods on it excluding the Map. USMCsky, I had a similar issue the first attempt at getting the server running and after doing another clean install from scratch it seems that it was related to a corrupt download of the extinction core MOD. The cache copy may have also been corrupted, but I wiped out my steam cache and the MOD's in the servers MOD folder and that seemed to do the trick. I use ASM to manage my server, not sure what you use though.

You are a hero in my books. I will duplicate your efforts after the server clears out at 2 or 3 a.m. tonight. Thanks for that confirmation. Peeps been yelling. Did you load it just after the map in the mod list?

The MOD ID for the map is not included in the main ID list for me so the extinction core MOD is the first one in that list. The map MOD ID doesn't need to be in there though since the map path is a separate entry. When I pulled up my MOD collection in ASM though the Map is always the first and it wouldn't allow me to change that.

I'm running a server for my community with Extinction Core - no issues. Just started and running with max level 240 dinos (for now) purely for the aspect of needing a growth challenge. Every month or so will increase max level, so you can't just go out and find a 500+ argy on day 1 and be uber killer.

Daworm, if your running it on this map I'm curious what you have your official difficulty set to. I believe I found out what my the max dino level is currently on my server which is 420.

Gui0188 we got it up and rolling offset 6 and overrideX10. See quite a few 150plus. A few 300. Had to deactive EC this morning. Reports that Structure+ elements would not place. Tried it and reports were true. Would not let me place any mod items. Deactived EC from load list and presto. All back to normal. PRO - the server started and engrams worked. CON - mods worked, but nothing non-vanilla could be placed. IDEAS? ANYONE?

I'm honestly not sure what to tell you on that one. I am running structures plus and EC on mine, but I'm not seeing the same issues. That being the case I'm almost thinking a combination of those plus one of the other mods you may be running that I'm not could be conflicting. On a side note I'm running offset of 7 and I see the dino levels in intervals of 7, but I think the highest level wild dino I have seen personally is 240 so I'm not sure what to think. I did battle one of the skeletal boss's last night and it spawned in level 420 zomdodo's so I'm thinking that is what the max dino level is, since they typically spawn in at max level. The strange thing is when I was set to the same offset on my last server the max dino level was 840. Any ideas there?

I have a server on my own computer an i would like to play this map and other mods. the problem are i cant connect to the server with this map and Extinction Core mod. TheIsland map and Extinction Core its runnig. i´m using a serverbatch data for starting my server. with this data i have tested:

Well one piece I can see your missing right away is the statement for a MOD map, the map MOD ID would be listed separate from the other ID's because it takes priority, but the extinction core mod is a core MOD so it has to be the first ID listed.
