Custom Cinematic Camera follow modes?
Love this mod, but is there any way to get more options than "Ambulance chaser," "Attenborough," "Flog it," and "Royalty watch"? I would like to see modes like 'cycle betwen sleeping people' or 'cycle between whoever is doing work' or 'doing hauling.' I would hate to ask you to add all these modes so I was wondering if there was a way to do them myself without having to make a patch or fork?

also, fighting against unjust wars isn't "political," it's human decency. So ignore the haters.

Checking the repo, I'm sure I could add my own logic to InterestWorker.cs, but even though I know C# I don't know anything about compiling mods for Rimworld. Project scaffolding is my greatest weakness :(

I agree. The colonists are the primary focus of the game, there really needs to be at very least a camera mode that follows JUST colonists.

The Ambulance Chaser has been my default, which - outside of combat - is basically Attenborough-lite: it follows my colonists like I was hoping, then jumps to a tortoise, then a sleeping rat, then jumps between 20 gazelles doing nothing in the corner of the map . The only useful alternative is Royalty Watch which just cycles infinitely between two of my five colonists, missing a majority of what's going on. Neither of these are really a good solution and going in to reset Ambulance Chaser every 5 minutes really defeats the point of having an automatic camera mode, imo.

I really hope someone is able to work on this: just a basic automatic camera that cycles between player colonists, maybe specializations later down the line. This mod has a LOT of practical potential to the point where I wonder why a feature like this isn't included in the base game, but then it goes and follows wildlife for 2 hours and I remember why.

Has anything come of this? The world needs a colonist-only cinematic camera.
