Painted surfaces dissapearing upon save load
This has happened to me a few times already, but there are certain areas in my city where the surfaces that I have painted are disappearing for no apparent reason. This seems to only be happening where there are at least a few props. Also, sometimes when you put a prop down on a painted surface, a section of the painted surface will disappear. When you try to re-paint that certain section, all the sections around it will also disappear.

This is driving me nuts, so any help would be appreciated.

I experience this issue too

@TheKid I've resorted to using the surface brushes available on the workshop. I had so many painted surfaces that it took 2 - 3 hours to repaint, and I'm not risking it.

Are you by any chance downloading Workshop items while in game? I know that this is my habit when I am working on my city and need something to just bring up the Steam overlay, open the community page to then browse the Workshop and get what I need. It seems that doing this actually reverts your modifications to the default appearance.

And it's not just this mod. For instance I use
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=543722850
to get rid of lights from a lower road sticking out through a road above and the time I spent hunting all these lamp posts has been wasting, I noticed that they were all back.

In short, do not install mods while in game.

Interesting, thanks for the advice DLM. I guess Aedificium won't be needed.

from my experience, this has nothing to do with "loading mods/props" while in-game (by means of Aedificium, eg.)

it happens just randomly... it happens even when nothing changed.
@BloodyPenguin: i'd like to offer support in this case.

any fix on this one? just happend to me. kinda frustrating to repaint everything and not be sure that its the last time..
I downloaded mods ingame though, is that the only reason this happens?

As of now, avoid opening or using the workshop at all while in-game.That for me has been the only thing that has works. I'm not sure if its just accessing the workshop, or actually subscribing to something, but it causes the game to "refresh" and there's a conflict somewhere that can trigger this to happen.
