Better Pods and Additional Dark Events
RealityMachina, the author of the Additional Dark Events mod, put an option into his files to turn off the Dark Events that would otherwise conflict with Better Pods.
To be sure that you don't get any conflicts between these two mods, follow these two steps:

#1: Disable the conflicting Events
- Open the XComDarkEvents.ini from Additional Dark Events. Change the "UsingPods" option from "true" to "false".

#2: Undo the changes to the Missions.ini that would conflict
- Delete the Missions.ini from Additional Dark Events. Yes, just delete it.

Congratulations, you can now use Better Pods with Additional Dark Events.

Do es #2 refer to the XComMissions.ini file in the Additional Dark Events Config folder?
DerBK  [developer] Jun 7, 2016 @ 6:15am
Yes, it does.

Note that currently only the Standard version of ADE has the UsingPods option, the Casual version doesn't.
RealityMachina updated the Casual version too:
"UPDATE (03/06/2016): Added UsingPods variable to enable A Better Pods compatibility, fixed .ini not actually being functional all this time since the mod's release. "

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but where are these .ini's at? I can't find a mod folder anywhere! And all google does is find answers for Mac's and Linux. I subscribe to the mods through Steam, so my question is where does Steam put this information so I can edit it all?

Edit: I use Windows.

<.< Uh... Is it all supposed to be labelled with numbers? Or is that weird?
DerBK  [developer] Jul 14, 2016 @ 9:32pm
That's completely normal.
Does this still work for ABA 2?
DerBK  [developer] Nov 5, 2016 @ 12:00pm
This is already integrated in ABA2.
