you can install the ACM and check there (it have an option to check dinos on the map) normaly they should be there

I've gotten a few Thylas, they are pretty rare, they also spawn high in trees and blend in pretty well till they pounce on you, or something else.

Actually i found some this evening. But it happend after i tried standing still for 5 mins in redwood. After that they started spawning in pairs, I killed them, to get higher levels. They kept spawning in two's the first 4 encounters, then they were spawning one at a time, and after a while they stop spawning in one redwood, so i went to the other, and its the same again. Levels were pretty similar, alot of 180, 80, 20 and 2 300, was the highest. Killed maybe 25 and tamed one.
