Failed to load mod map
Today I started having this problem..... Here is what I have tried so far.
- Unsubscribing to all mods (multiple times)
--- Including deleting the files from the mod directories
- Verifying the ARK files

Any ideas on why I'm still getting this error? Other users are able to get onto the server, so this does seem like a client issue.

have you tryed to go on a server that have only one of the mods ?
I have a Shigo test Server on the Discription -> try it

When I load into the test server I load the stuff, then it times out immediately.

It appears, when the map is downloaded the map isn't being decompressed in the Windows folder. Even after you launch Ark - it say it's installing, but it still doesn't decompress the files.

At this point, I have reinstalled the game, and I have this happening on two computers which makes it even more strange.

When I log into the test server, it loads, when I create a survivor it crashes.

Ditto, same issue as Spiney.
I run a dedicated server with this and a handful of other mods.
The problem only occurs if we try to spawn at a base we've built on top of a cliff 53.5, 43.

The crash happens either when the player spawns into the location from fast-traveling, or if the player tries to load into that location after logging out there.

If loading into the game, the crash happens after everything is loaded but before the world renders. The server reports that the player has joined the server, and then the game crashes.

We've found that if a tribemate comes in and kill the body of the person they're able to rejoin and spawn elsewhere no problem. Also, in similar vein, if the old clipping-through-floor bug does its job and the player clips onto the floor below it seems like that solves the problem, or if the body clips all the way into the water (and the player drowns) that works ok, too.

Admin commands to kill the players while they're loading don't seem to work.

We'd tried moving the beds into a different building, still on same island and are still having the issue. We have two other spawn points around the map which don't have these issues.

I actually ended up having to change the map on the server. The server had only a few people on it and 1/2 of the people couldn't get on.

For me this sounds like a normal missmatch of a mod. The Ark manager dont work very well at updates so its better to make Map updates via FTP program on your own.

I run the server using this server manager, which downloads the files through steam independently of ARK: http://arkservermanager.freeforums.net/

If you mean this is a clientside mismatch - I had tried removing the mod directory and re-downloading it from the workshop, to no avail.

Same problem here.
Map gets loaded in a dedicated server.
It's getting shown as "Shooter Entry" as map name in the server list and the server crashs as soon as someone tries to connect.
I cleanly downloaded the map multiple times, but it didn't solve the problem.
Therefor uninstalled and unsubscribed for now

no the missmatch is always on the server ... so dont letz the Ark Server Manager download it ... upload your files via ftp and all will work fine

Don't know about the op, but I'm not using the Ark Server Manager. I add the mods/maps ID manually to the servers start parameters "GameMapId" and put it to be loaded first in "GameModIds" in conjunction with Ark's official "-automanagedmods"-Functionality.
This worked for every other MapMod so far except ShigoIsland.

Upload map via FTP solves this issue easy. :)

As Quinn says upload map initially by FTP, for me once I did that it has updated correctly since, but initial map load was corrupt. Seen oa lot of posts about this issue on all the modded map discussions seems to be an issue with how steam gets the maps to the server.
