Inventory manager and "mixed ores" - Better stone mod
Hello,
A similar discussion was once started for TIM and I am equally interested in a way to integrate ores with multiple corresponding Ingots.
Truthfully i would like this "Better Stone Mod" as an option to the basegame itself from the get go.
If similarily to "TIM" the new ores could be listed with one corresponding ingot to at least work on a basic level, that would be nice.

Ultimately a ratingsystem depending on unfullfilled quotas and ratio of seperate yield per ore would be the optimum ( would obviously suppurt vanilla ores and any other non-vanilla ore if users had a simple way to update/expand the library for ore-refining).

Example:
Quotas:
Iron: 60% achieved - pure ore demandfactor 0,5 / 50% - 0,6 / 40% - 0,75 / 30% - 0,9

Ore - multiplier

[CM] Dense Iron * (vanilla rare iron) - Iron x1
[CM] Heazlewoodite (Ni)
[CM] Cattierite (Co)
[CM] Pyrite (Fe, Au) - Iron x 0,5/Au x0,5
[CM] Taenite (Fe, Ni)
[CM] Cohenite (Ni, Co)
[CM] Kamacite (Fe, Ni, Co)
[CM] Glaucodot (Fe, Co)
[PM] Electrum (Au, Ag)
[PM] Porphyry (Au)
[PM] Sperrylite (Pt)
[PM] N i g g l i i t e (Pt) * (censored by Steam, hence the spaces)
[PM] Galena (Ag)
[PM] Chlorargyrite (Ag)
[PM] Cooperite (Ni, Pt)
[PM] Petzite (Ag, Au) -- NEW
[S] Hapkeite (Fe, Si)
[S] Dolomite (Mg)
[S] Sinoite (Si)
[S] Olivine (Si, Mg)
[S] Quartz (Si)
[S] Akimotoite (Si, Mg)
[S] Wadsleyite (Si, Mg)
[EI] Carnotite (U)
[EI] Autunite (U)
[EI] Uraniaurite (U, Au) -- NEW

The corresponding "Ranking/full prioritys" for each ore can be derived by combining quota/demandfactor and "partial priority" in regards to yield.

As an example lets look at Dense Iron and Pyrite.

If Iron is at 40% Quota: Iron priority ist multiplied by a demandfactor of 0,75 for each ore.

Dense Iron has a partial priority/yield of 1 for Iron - 0,75 x 1 = 0,75 ( Ranking equals partial priority)
Pyrite has a partial priority/yield of 0,5 for Iron - 0,75 x 0,5 =0,375

At fully achieved Quota for gold dense Iron woud have the higher rating ergo priority to be refined.

At 30% Quota for gold there is a 0,9 demandfactor for gold.
Dense Iron has a priority/yield of 1 for Iron - 0,75 x 1 = 0,75 ( Ranking equals partial priority)
No partial priority/yield for gold.

Pyrite has a partial priority/yield of 0,5 for Iron - 0,75 x 0,5 =0,375
And it has a partial priority/yield of 0,5 for gold - 0,9 x 0,5 = 0,45
-> total Priority/Ranking : 0,825

In this case Pyrite would be the best choice to meet the quotas more efficiently.

The "numbers" as in partial priorities/pPriority and especially the demandfactor/DF can obviously be ballanced to accomodate for example more sensisitve/effective differentiation depending on quotas, more important materials ( should iron as a "basic material" be more import than rarer elements?) or different yields.

Example: Ore 1 yield per unit: 0,4 iron/ 0,5 gold
Ore 2 yield per unit: 0,8 iron/ 0,4 gold
Ore 3 yield per unit: 0,35 iron/ 0,4 gold/ 0,3 platin
