The 4 new dinos should be working correctly now though as I have added them to the mod :)
Going 2 months without mosas hasn't been easy on our players. But now that new aggressive and hard to tame creatures have been added to the sea, our players could really use some mosas...
Would it be possible to remove the mosa remapping in this mod until they fix the bug in ARK?
- What map are you experiencing the over spawning of mosas on?
- What dinos are disabled in your ini files?
- What other mods is your server running?
- Is DCP in first place of the mod load order?
I'm currently playing on a Center map with Dino Colors Plus and spend a lot of time in the ocean doing deep sea loot creates. We aren't having a problem with over-spawning mosas. If you can provide enough info for me to replicate the issue then it would aid us greatly in being able to resolve it.
Thanks so much, and Happy Holidays

You can find the complete config here, but I highly doubt any ini-config actually messes up the mosa spawns. NPCReplacements-code for mosa is not listed there, as I had not intended for it to be a permanent config...

Hoping to setup a test-server once the physical server owner returns for holiday. He did some sloppy work when configuring the Linux server so I've only got 32gb disk space (out of 128gb). Using ARK Tools[survivetheark.com] I can see that all spawns of mosas on TheCenter is DCP. Just rechecked TheIsland. Removed the code above, destroywilddinos, restart server, and mosas are back at 110 already... not sure what the standard spawning of mosas are with 1x dinospawn, but these are all in vanilla.
I understand this could be result of a mod-conflict, but since both TheIsland and TheCenter is running the same config and same mods, and only TheIsland is spawning in vanilla mosa, I assume it's related to map or DCP. None of the other mods are supposed to change any dinos...
How? Why? I have no idea. What to do with this information? No clue. But here it is. So far only tested on rexes.
I guess if you have tamed vanilla dinos before devkit and this mod is updated, you could use this method to turn vanilla dinos into DCP dinos for breeding purposes.
