Speed up GREMLIN?
Loving the mod, really makes the game more enjoyable for me. One thing I would like if possible would be for the GREMLINs to move a lot quicker when using them for something (hacking, aid protocol, etc.).

This would also stop wasting my time, and sort of makes it easier for me to understand why the enemies don't even bother trying to shoot the thing (its moving tooooooo fast, we'll never hit that!).

Yeah the Gremlins are pretty annoying to watch over and over again, especially when you have multiple targets you are investigating to hack in a turn.

I wish Gremlins just went over most obstacles instead of around map cover. They do this weird sort of drift animation around corners and it slows down the movement.

It would be convenient if they got permenent wraith once you can get/have built a wraith suit.

Agree, they need to speed up. I don't care that it ruins the visuals about them, but it's annoying to watch them.

Or if he could just remove the demonic camera lock.

No idea if there's a way to do it but I'd love if we didn't have to also watch the GREMLIN return to its owner after the hack is completed--just return control to the player immediately after the hack is completed and continue the turn while the GREMLIN itself returns.

What we really need to kill is the 3 second unskippable animation of the gremlin getting into position and opening the terminal with the klaxon sound. So repetitive and unnecessary.

This is a good idea, if possible. I would probably still like him to be sped up, though.

Added!

Gremlins are now sped up by 150%. You can change that value in XComStopWastingMyTime.ini

(Please send all virtual-thanks to IphStich, who did most of the work on this feature)

Great Thanks!

i've noticed that if you completely delete the
GremlinSpeedMultiplier=2.5
line from XComStopWastingMyTime.ini, the gremlin animations get a REALLY LONG (almost 10 seconds) pause prior to flying anywhere (whether its doing a gremlin action or simply following your specialist around when he moves). If you leave it in there but play around with the values, then its all good.
I wanted to make them a bit less fast than what you've coded them to do, so have changed the setting to 2.0

Yes, deleting the value is the same as setting it to 0.0, so the Gremlins will not move at all (until the animation times out)
