How are you confirming that it's not working?
Also
Been using the alt launcher. The animations still play every time, weapon animations, and in some cases are so delayed they actually increase the time spent on actions.
Try deleting that folder. Also try subscribing/unsubscribing to the mod.
Also the alternate launcher won't detect it no matter what I try (tried manually adding the xcom2/xcomgame/mods folder and copying the mod files there, tried manually adding both that folder and the steam/workshop/content/268500/620600092 folder to the alternate launcher mod directories... nothing.
It's the only mod I'm running.
*edit* and ♥♥♥♥, now the launcher won't even recognize it. I unsubscribed, closed steam, relaunched steam, resubscribed, reloaded launcher... nothing.
I'm fairly certain that this, for example, "Revealed enemies cinematic time" is not working; it's super obvious when playing a Reaper in Shadow mode discovering enemies. And this pause is so annoying; it's seriously compromising the flow and fun of the game when you play it for many hours.
I truly don't understand why Firaxis just doesn't sort this out from their end via a patch, at least by giving us the OPTIONS to remove these pauses. This way, those who want them can keep them, and we can just remove this crap as people who play the game for tens of hours on end.
That's my 2 cents on the matter though.
I think the issue is that people think this mod removes a lot of animation. It doesn't, it only reduces the 2-second pauses after the animations finish.
